12/11/2024 15:11 | For those not familiar with this type of capital re-organisation (it is not a consolidation) I believe there will be no change in market access to the stock via various brokers, some brokers take up to a month to re-organise themselves when there is a consolidation, this means you are effectively locked in and cannot trade. I noticed that there appears to be many takers of stock around current levels via the market, this bodes well, it would suggest whoever took the placing stock are not your usual 10% flippers. The share price could rally significantly on the right news-flow therefore. | mrblobbythe2nd
12/11/2024 14:55 | But these are potential shareholders Curry - They don't have a vote yet. If existing shareholders are not keen on the idea then they can vote against it. Here is the pertinent extract from the RNS "Completion of the Fundraising and Capital Reorganisation is conditional upon, inter alia, Shareholder approval at a General Meeting to be held on or around 2 December 2024 (the "General Meeting"). A circular containing further details of the Fundraising, Capital Reorganisation and Notice of General Meeting is expected to be despatched to Shareholders by 12 November 2024." | odillon
12/11/2024 11:25 | Isn't the Wilson project subject to shareholder approval? If that is the case then it is possible it won't go ahead. With regard to Topaz I cannot see any headway being made there. CNOOC are claiming $12m from EME (as set out in a rather hard to find manner in the 1 October final results) so the parties are in dispute and I cannot see CNOOC trusting EME to deliver in the future what they have failed to deliver in the past. If it is such a good prospect, I'm surprised that CNOOC are not exploring it themselves. They have been finding plenty of oil elsewhere with their own explorations. The concrete positivity is, I believe, in a Mako cash pay out. | odillon
12/11/2024 11:19 | yes but once we get the money, we can sell out and walk away | currypasty
12/11/2024 11:03 | Odillion, TK has made it quite clear that Duyung money will be used for exploration and he has demonstrated this by this new 'Wilson project' where he is prepared to dilute shareholders including himself heavily for this project. I'm guessing had the Duyung money landed he would have used that instead but this clearly lays out his plans for the future. If we can get back into Topaz with Duyung money, that could really be exciting. | showme01
12/11/2024 11:00 | Odillon 👏👏 | judijudi
12/11/2024 10:59 | Jo, congratulations! Back for a second time :-) | showme01
12/11/2024 10:44 | Curry, in the EME dictionary "near term" could mean many years. The Wilson rhetoric is not dissimilar to the Jade rhetoric and that came to nothing. There's equity in Mako though and my preference is to make the most of that via dividend payments and step away from the brink of more funding of pipe dreams. | odillon
12/11/2024 10:39 | I did hold many years ago. 22 pence in old money until 147p if you can belive that, first ever winnings | jostrummer
