08/11/2024 15:31 | Saf you say “Tom is an explorer” but he seems more on a quest to find gullible shareholders to support his lifestyle than oil and gas. The market is well and truly on to him and the game is up. Down we go again. | roundtheworld
08/11/2024 15:11 | Hopefully that will change if Nortrust continue to buy and then force the goon to divi up Imho | judijudi
08/11/2024 14:36 | odious, It is not intended to issue any divi, not even to Tom who owns millions of shares. Proceeds from Mako are intended to pay off debt and even to get back into Topaz as mentioned by Toon. If not then Tom has mentioned many times that he is an explorer so further ( new )exploration is on the cards. Already started with Wilson. | safiande
08/11/2024 14:18 | My hope is that shareholders receive the maximum possible dividend from Mako, that the benefits of Mako are not depleted or lost completely on another project and that Toon has been able to average down sufficiently so that he makes some profit from a Mako divi up. | odillon

08/11/2024 01:47 | The newbies may be unaware of the Jade duster proclaimed by Tom Kelly as "one of the highest impact and exciting wells of 2022" ...or indeed of EME losing 2 million in a Bank transfer and no evidence being known to this board of the Court Proceedings that EME say they took in respect of this huge loss. I am not saying that the company did not take legal proceedings, just that there is no independent evidence of the proceedings mentioned anywhere on this board and I have been unable to locate any evidence of them elsewhere. If anyone has any independent evidence that court proceedings were taken please provide a link. | odillon
07/11/2024 18:19 | The chance of drilling success in the Cooper Basin in Australia varies, but here's some information about the success rate: Overall success rate: The commercial success rate for exploration wells in the Cooper Basin is 41.2%. Success rate for conventional plays: The success ratio for conventional plays in the Late Carboniferous - Middle Triassic age is 0.442. Success rate for Santos: Santos has a 75% success rate in the Cooper Basin. Success rate for Beach Energy: Beach Energy claimed an 82% success rate in 2018. Exploration success in 2023: Exploration success in the Cooper–Eromang The Cooper Basin is 35,000 square kilometers and has an exploration well density of one well per 58 square kilometers. The deposits in the basin are small but economical to drill and complete. | judijudi
07/11/2024 18:15 | MrBlobbythe2nd7 Nov '24 - 15:27 - 56412 High quality research above on the Kiwi well in the Cooper Basin. Good to see others also sharing such workload. | safiande
07/11/2024 18:14 | There are various companies drilling in the Cooper This is just one There is loads of info out there Some companies have a high success rate some not so high We are talking about EME and our record speaks for itself Does it not? Despite the modest increase in exploration expenditure there were 38 exploration wells drilled in 2023, an increase from the 26 wells drilled in 2022. Three of these 2023 wells were located offshore, targeting prospective resources in the vicinity of LNG project upstream gas fields. Thirty-four conventional onshore exploration wells were drilled in 2023 compared to 18 in 2022, a significant increase. The Cooper-Eromanga Basin is the focus of onshore exploration drilling with 21 exploration wells, compared to 13 in 2022, which yielded 6 discoveries. Exploration success rates in the Cooper-Eromanga Basin are declining coincident with total well count. | judijudi
07/11/2024 17:47 | There is nothing in the market that suggests the COS is as low as 30%, the Cooper Basin is oil prolific, as ever some longs who deem to have been shafted (ignoring AIM's woeful performance) seem determined to trash their own investment, just because the share price is low now does not mean it will stay there. In raising £1m cash the company is secure whereas previously it was not, now there is new project interest as well as the guaranteed sale of the Mako stake which, as everyone knows, is worth multiples of the current m/cap. One suspects some very shrewd operators have bought the placing and their holding will not be flipped for the usual 10% preferring to wait for multiples of profit. Buy the lows and profit. | mrblobbythe2nd
07/11/2024 17:14 | Jade was touted at over 40% COS and we know what happened there! | judijudi
07/11/2024 16:28 | He hasn't bought it, he has secured the option as I understand it, which is why he had to raise this money for EME to get the option transferred to them and contribute to the drill | showme01 |
