This will come to fruition but in it's correct time. It is easy to become impatient when such a big prize is in sight but out of reach in the short term. Tom and Gaz have been and are lining up the ducks for a seamless ( as possible) release of updates on progress across all three assets . The last thing they need is releasing half information to pacify the impatient.

I am waiting for these exciting updates which could literally land any day. It is not a time to be out of this and watching from the sidelines - unless you are willing to loose a very quick 70% - 80% gain. Once news breaks this will sky rocket !

quite right Marty...
"we expect to see further value accretive milestones reached in the near future. Overall, with three promising high impact exploration projects being progressed and a consistent stream of news flow expected moving forward, we anticipate that it will be an exciting period ahead for Empyrean and its shareholders.

The Company is continuously reviewing other acquisition opportunities in parallel to the current activities and will also evaluate any attractive divestment opportunities in due course.

Empyrean's cash at the end of the period was US$4,649,659. "

unfortunately in the last 5 weeks since that statement we have only had the Dempsey gas hook up and sale rns, which wasn't really 'news', so here's hoping Tom will come up with the goods promised shortly

Happily buying away at these levels.

A likely patience needed here.

Remember what the interims said about news

In the interview he mentions 'co-mingling' I take that as producing from the lower zone, then moving up and producing from upper ones as well at same time.. bottom has to be done first though

So if after the frack the yield is up 10 times for example...would they then temporally shut/block off these two bottom zones and move up to the next and test that and so on until there is enough combined zones below to fill the pipe line....B

CURRYPASTY , ref your post 14880 of 14890

Thank you for your healthy assessment.

At 30 times, gives $1.15M per annum to EME which would buy a lot of protein bars.

Without a fracture treatment, most low-permeability wells will flow at low rates and recover only modest volumes of oil and gas before reaching their economic limit. By definition, a low-permeability well will not be economic unless a successful fracture treatment is both designed and pumped into the formation. A successful stimulation treatment has the following effects:
◾The flow rate will increase
◾The ultimate recovery will increase
◾The producing life will be extended.

In fact, many low-permeability wells will produce for 40 or more years, given adequate product prices and minimal operating costs. It is usually very easy to justify fracture treatments in low-permeability wells when the fracture treatment substantially increases the ultimate recovery.

Do you really think additional leases in this part of the basin will add value in any event this has nothing to do with eme placing ahoy enjoy

Rimsley, context is everything and yours as usual is out of. Malcy and the shareholders have no idea what is down the well. Correct. The operators and stake holders do.
Why do you think that is?
Did you miss the bit that they are providing limited news while they secure other leases in the area?
Enjoy :-))

A more technical discussion on fracking...

◾For low-permeability reservoirs, fracture length is more important than fracture conductivity.
◾For a given fracture length, there is an optimum value of conductivity ratio.
◾Most fracture treatments in undamaged formations should result in stimulation ratios of 2 to 14

I believe they have found a massive reservoir but need to get the rock in that area fracced and of course we can go up the hole as we know the gas at the surface was enough to pay the well costs,I can wait for that one. I want to see the Alvares that could be a stormer

Toon on jan 16 POST NO 14775 I am not sure is he saying that about the complete well or just the section that are going to frac either way he is somebody that tells as he sees it and can be trusted. dyor
