Even net $5 a barrel (after extraction costs and 51% to the Chinese) on low estimates generates over $1bn to poor little EME.

That's well over £1 a share.

Brimsley,

Let me give you a little history lesson. China tend to give licences to large oil companies, hence no need to farm out. Why did old little EME get a licence in a very prosperous area? Gaz Bisht is the clue. TK in his own words to me was that when they flew to China to meet the Chinese, he thought they had a 1 in 100 chance in securing a deal but it was worth the trip due to the size of the prize. He can't stop smiling :-)

China 3D seismic is due before the end of Q1.
I’m for nice increase in reserves coupled with a statement on development plans.

If they can announce a partner, the rise will be stunning

Oh Brimsley, why do always tell lies!Mama always says to stop telling fibs! You know that REAL traders pick good risk rewards. They don't just trade one stock which is likely to go up!Fibber, fibber, chicken dinner!Mama knows you want to be a real trader, but like the doc says, it's all in your head!Come, come now, time for your warm milk and pills before bedtime. Mama will read us the story about the hotshot trader. It's your favourite... Even more than Winnie Pooh...

TG. Binary will have 2 outcomes. Success or failure. There are many routes to success as there are to failure. IMO Dempsey is most likely a commercial discovery, but at this stage it's not 100%.Non commercial is of no value to SGC and EME and a failure.

I've read Mako worth 12p alone. Didn't you read the interims on divestment?

A big cashout on the Mako success would see this rocket.

Dempsey is building nicely, permits and an easy frac, will transform it.

Very exciting , good entry point whilst the chaff gets blown away.

In my view what's dragging us down are the regular 25k,50k and 100k buys, being dropped a day or two later, rolling perhaps, but at a loss,or a little fortunate for them "not", but that's where we lose out as the m/m's conveniently drop the off/bids for those trades..but the Long term holders are the losers in this game
Try looking back at the trades over 5 days and see....imho

showme, surely a binary play is one which only has two possible outcomes:

1 Success

0 Failure

SGC has a whole range of possible outcomes. Dempsey alone could be anything between zero and 1TCF.

Am I applying an incorrect definition?
