Good afternoon all,

This is the response to the above that I have posted on the ESAG BB.

'Manny (ie Steven),

Thank you for raising these points, though many of them are familiar.

1. Of course, contributors should have a say.

2. There are no articles of association. This is an action group that has not, so far, sought a formal structure.

3. Any process to decide a new leader must involve full consultation if not an election.

4. You have made these allegations of conflict of interest, refusing evidence, inadequate briefing of counsel, etc, numerous times before and I have answered them.

5. I have sent further e-mails to Debbie, Gwen and Nigel re accounts. I am also finding the delay frustrating. I will chase up responses and post again when I have them. which I trust will be very soon.'

It is unfortunate that Steven's post - which he presumably intended to restrict to ESAG members - has been copied here, especially as it contains untrue allegations that he brings up every 2 months or so in the hope, no doubt, that repetition will eventually overcome the truth.

Whinberry,

Thed site has not moved, but some people have been experiencing access difficulties. including me. I have no difficulty reaching the site from my work computer, but I have not been able to reach it from my home computer for some days. I use BT broadband on both computers, so it is a mystery, though I hope the problem will soon be resolved.

Pawnseven. I think he has just done a simple calculion in the above post.

Generally, you take the asset value of a company (or what analysts think it is valued at), and subtract their liabilities.

I think you will find for EGS the calulation comes out at tbout zero. I don;t think people really care what is SHOULD be worth.

pawnseven`s analasys brings to mind the British Energy scenario...whereby the market makers valued the company at around £74m yet Deutche Bank have recently taken an interest in the company in the form of shares and bonds in excess of £200m..not to mention a further hedge fund interested in 35m shares......just does not make sense...and this is a company that has a £5bn aid package attatched to it.....and the creditors are bending over backwards to control the company and the the shareholder is to end up with about 2.5% plus warrants, whereby Energis, once valued at £40 a share, with a poultry £600m of debt (that could have been `rolled over`) has been totaly taken over by it`s creditors, leaving the share holder with nothing more than hope......On a slightly different topic, In yesterdays Telegraph,it had been noted that the UK stock market is now lower than when Labour came to power, whereas markets around the globe have increased...all atritubuted to G.Browns strangle hold on UK busisnesses through backdoor taxation by stealth. Add to this the fact that Margeret Thatcher had made a lot of us shareholders.... to which a labour MP replied that the Stock Market is nothing less than a roulette wheel....however, the fact remains that wealth is being erroded... the bottom line being....this country needs a change. If Labour are returned next time round...it`s been suggested that London, as a stock exchange will be intergrated with the DAX as a move by Labour to pro Europeanise fiscal alignment with a step closer to intergrating the £/Euro...with the eventual demise of the pound.....thereby circumventing the need for a referendum and we will all have the Euro...by stealth.(...with it`s 50% taxation etc.etc...but thats another story...)

Energis

2000 - valued at £12bn

2004 - valued at 0 - Turnover up, EBITDA up, debt down, staff down.

Same company, same analysts, better trading position and better management.

Jaknife we would like to hear your explanation regarding your nonsensical post 22315 above.

`...pray for a miracle`...ironic that the very word Energis translated from the Greek means,,,the power of GOD...however the best chance of return,if any, would be a floataion as close to the seven year deadline as possible...Energis was headed towards a £2.4bn valuation prior to the collapse....and Archie Norman has a proven record of bring the `dead` back to life as in the ASDA scenario.....all is not lost.....yet,

How are you old friend, surprised to see you on this thread but you are very welcome.
I like you, think people should move on ,but there is still lot of feeling about the way the shareholders where ripped off.
