18/12/2017 21:22 | Wow just discovered i have a share cert for 20 shares in this dawg. Must have been something else in a previous life and ended up as ECR with massive dilution. Could anyone enlighten me on my 21p investment please? | the bull
11/12/2017 09:22 | RNS... but still no dates for drilling, just an 'update in due course' throwaway. Now that they know all the targets, have they applied for the drilling permits? If only recently, then based on previous guidance, could still be up to 3 months more, before anything actually happens... * 27 targets identified within the Avoca and Timor licences, including 10 high priority areas * 20 targets identified within the Bailieston and Moormbool licences, including 5 high priority areas | katylied
04/12/2017 14:35 | Something has kicked this uphill, what is the good news? | barony
26/10/2017 13:15 | he also said 1 in 50 projects make it to production. | cashchaser
26/10/2017 12:42 | Craig Brown - "...I've worked with these Chinese investor in the past and they certainly have the expertise and backing to develop substantial projects. This particular group which our investor is involved with, as part of a larger group, they also have other mines in China including a graphite, a substantial graphite mine and a magnesite mine. In addition they also have a copper/gold project in Zambia. So, they've got quite a lot of experience in mining. They are in manufacturing industry, they produce the tracks for Caterpillar bulldozers which are exported worldwide. They have a number of... They are the sole importer of Volvo in China and distributor to several regions. So they are a substantial group and we are very pleased to get them on board. They have 22% of the company and seem very supportive and want to assist us to develop and we think they are going to prove critical in the future..." The 22% is credited to 'Shenyang Xinliaoan Machinery Co Ltd'. The name 'Volvo' appears in their marketing (parts) and plausible that they might make Caterpillar tracks, but what about the other stuff? What evidence they have 'mines' anywhere? Chinese companies often have a parent. So who is CB really talking about when he says 'group'? A few clues disclosed, some detective work required... | katylied
26/10/2017 11:09 | Just had another listen to Craig Brown in the interview. "They are a shareholder. They've presented ideas to us, we've presented ideas to them and we're working with them and we hope that we can, eh, you know, I can't say much more at the moment". What's all that about? Pp. | piperpeter
25/10/2017 16:08 | But what was it that he felt he couldn't say any more about 'at the moment'? Pp. | piperpeter
25/10/2017 15:59 | the tax losses are meaningless unless making any money and that is many many years away | cashchaser
25/10/2017 14:53 | Interesting interview. Sound's like he's dying to say more, but not at the moment. A mention of acquiring some assets and earnings being tax free because of the MGA tax losses. Wasn't there a mention, a while back now, of a possible separate listing of MGA on the ASX? Would that be the best direction to go to benefit from the past tax losses? Pp. | piperpeter
25/10/2017 14:10 | This event 'Momentous Events' was evidently on the 12th October. Craig Brown seems a bit flustered, but does say clearly that Australia is their main focus (and refers to the 'Mercator Gold tax losses). Talks about some trenching work (Timor?), but basically quite vague about what the focus has been for the last few months. Some info about the company's Chinese Investors (but says he can't say much more). He gets asked specifically about newsflow, but just waffles the usual 'over the next few months'. Still no timeline/dates for any current, or near term exploration activity... | katylied
25/10/2017 13:29 | the dawg must have heard me is having a little bark today | cashchaser
25/10/2017 12:24 | What became of the programme of RC drilling at the SLM Gold Project in Argentina, which was planned to commence in August 2017? Pp. | piperpeter
24/10/2017 18:36 | I see 3 (at least) possibilities to account for the apparent inactivity... (1) Something corporate is going on (probably with the Chinese) that has caused all current drilling plans to be suspended until that corporate outcome is known and can be notified... (2) Drill plans were revised to target Timor (No1 apparently), but unfortunately licence paperwork issues have imposed an unexpected and lengthy delay... (3) Like all previous ECR regimes, yet another pile of poo... | katylied
24/10/2017 16:21 | see the ole dawg is still not barking me fears it is a dead dawg lol | cashchaser
18/10/2017 14:21 | out of 5 mines, needs just one to strike gold to see share price in double digits... | paul the octopus
05/10/2017 15:55 | 1.6m buy at 1.34p gone through. | novicetrade68
25/9/2017 21:37 | Asiamet Resources #ARS Motif Bio #MTFB ECR Minerals #ECR This is dated 20th September 2017, ECR starts at ~20 minutes Timor (No1) - Exploration licence EL6278 registered. However (as of 22nd March 2017) "...only low impact exploration may be undertaken in the licence area until a work plan submitted by MGA has been approved by the Victorian authorities. MGA does not expect to submit a work plan until targets for drilling have been identified..." | katylied
20/9/2017 09:53 | Good to see the Company has exploration plans in place for all four of the licence's held in Victoria. I assume they will also soon be updating on the SLM Gold Project in Argentina. The last official announcement was in the Interim Report, June 30 2017, where it was stated that "Drilling is planned to commence in August 2017". Pp. | piperpeter
20/9/2017 09:01 | RNS... Talking the talk, but I'm not seeing any dates to walk the walk... | katylied
19/9/2017 14:30 | Small scale drilling results in June can only have been step-1 in a larger plan. However, with the long silence since, step-2 may have been shelved. Perhaps a revised strategy is underway? Whatever it is, I hope it stays in Australia. I wonder if the sell-off after the drill results led to some bad feeling? The broker upset his clients had bought a dud and/or the company unimpressed with bucket-shop style loose holders. Perhaps the new Chairman represents Chinese interests wanting greater scrutiny? Whatever. I just hope the company comes up with something credible and soon. The last 2 regimes here were bad enough, this time the BoD really needs to be seen to deliver more than just the payroll... | katylied
19/9/2017 08:04 | Drop yesterday was very strange, called company about what was going on. They thought it was unjustified. I asked about raise and they said that categorically untrue, asked about operations in Australia both current and new projects and they said that they would not bring me over line on my own but would be looking to update market very soon | snickerdog

09/9/2017 09:37 | HNR - TWO wells successfully drilled with abundant oil and gas in samples extracted! Fracking and FIRST OIL next month! Don't miss this train! | happyholder123
06/9/2017 12:08 | Anybody know why we're creeping upwards, is it just rebalancing after the overdone sell-off or are we expecting news? Argentina perhaps, they were drilling in August I think although not expecting high grade. | paleje |
