08/6/2017 12:58 | Follow the money... --- "The previous company that I was involved in the share price went up 4 and a half times with the Chinese investors on board and in the end over 80% of our register became Chinese investors. And the prior company which they invested in the share price went up 7 and a half times. So it gives you some idea of the type of run you can have with these Chinese investors on board especially when they are bringing their own investors and colleagues and friends into the stock as well." - From 1:20 | x54v

08/6/2017 10:55 | Yes, it certainly has a heavy cash backing with the recent placing and Chinese investment. The Chinese are happy to be tied in for 12 months so they must be confident in the upside. And CEO Craig Brown has a strong history of generating shareholder value, especially with Kryso. And of course there is the potential near term catalyst with the Bailieston drill starting later this month. Plenty of reasons the share price should move up strongly from these levels. | x54v
08/6/2017 10:39 | My view is that ECR should be considered a "new company" as from the announcement of the consolidation of shares 4/11/16. That, along with the repayment of the Yorkville Facility with funds held prior to the £475,000 raised in the subscription announced 6/09/16 put the Company in a very strong financial position, with no debt. There has now been a further Subscription by Shenyang of £553,564 and the recent placing to raise a further £1,000,000. Of the current £2.4 million market cap, 65% of this is cash, possibly more if any of the £475,000 raised in September is left. As an active Company with no debt, plenty of cash and big money Chinese backers there can't be that many other tiny companies operating that have such a bright future. Happy to be invested here. Note - I have only been here post consolidation. Pp. | piperpeter
07/6/2017 16:15 | A fair bit of dip buying this afternoon by the looks of it, pretty close to the price at which institutions were more than happy to load up in the oversubscribed placing. A good level here to buy at prior support and with a near-term catalyst as a potential price driver: "To that end, we expect to start drilling at ECR's Bailieston project in Victoria later this month, and the Directors believe the recent run of high grade drilling results from the million-ounce Fosterville gold mine located 30km away should contribute to a high level of market interest in the results from Bailieston." | x54v
06/6/2017 15:10 | It was leaving out the takeover clause that interested me. If they convert warrants they breach 30% and have to make an offer to shareholders | chesycustard
06/6/2017 10:05 | "Shenyang will have a 22.4% shareholding in ECR (Following of the issue of Placing Shares as defined below). The shares will be subject to a 12-month lock-up." The Chinese clearly happy enough to hold for the next 12 months. They must be confident in the upside. | x54v
06/6/2017 09:55 | And then of course there's the longer term prospects. Craig Brown has done it all before with Kryso. "Watch this space. There's a lot of newsflow coming. The company's still substantially undervalued and I think, you know, you could see a price increase of, you know, the company could be several times higher in the next few months. The last company Kryso most of our investors made 10x on their money. I don't see any reason why they can't out of ECR." 4:38 | x54v
06/6/2017 09:52 | There was an oversubscribed placing with investors forking out GBP 1 million at 1.8p the other day and the Chinese have shown themselves very keen. So there is certainly good demand despite the short term pullback in price. | x54v
06/6/2017 09:41 | This share is like watching paint dry:( | ch1rp
06/6/2017 08:06 | "To that end, we expect to start drilling at ECR's Bailieston project in Victoria later this month, and the Directors believe the recent run of high grade drilling results from the million-ounce Fosterville gold mine located 30km away should contribute to a high level of market interest in the results from Bailieston." | x54v |
