21/12/2007 09:37 | ok dokey phil | eiffel
21/12/2007 09:36 | Be very careful here; this has been falling for months and for good reason - heavily loss making; few solid assets and a sky high valuation! If A bid comes off, all well and good but, if not, this will plummet! | philjeans
21/12/2007 09:33 | is it too late to buy in? | eiffel
21/12/2007 08:52 | Happy Xmas all :-) great way ti end the year, especially as I doubled up last week on the back of averaging down, and general speculation against the trend. | anusol
21/12/2007 08:52 | now who in their right mind would want a company that has a potential Billion customers with a market cap of just 30million selling mobile phones hmmmmmmmm afterall who wants a mobile phone these days lol wonder when Pis will wake up..... | divinausa1
21/12/2007 08:37 | Well spotted, Explorer. Pleasing news! | silverthread
21/12/2007 08:36 | well done Explorer you were right.......... | divinausa1
21/12/2007 08:18 | Explorer88 Post 576 two weeks ago (7 Dec): Bid imminent (within 3-4 weeks?). Fill your boots whilst others are busy filling their Christmas stockings ... :-) (fwiw, check out UBQ and SRF for my own backstory in identifying previous bids this year) -------------------- I'm expecting offer to be at least 25p-30p, bearing in mind that Audley bought large amounts around 25p. Div - you're correct, broker does have fair value at 36p, which i think is entirely reasonable; so we may well see the company being sold for more than 30p I don't think i should post any further for the moment. Good luck everyone, enjoy your EBT news Christmas present ! :-) Happy Christmas - see you in the New Year (P.S. Next potential takeover situation ... LED ? ...) | explorer88
21/12/2007 07:30 | we were expected to be breakeven next year and broker fair valuation of 36p | divinausa1
21/12/2007 07:28 | Had to happen..... What are we worth? share price wise? | divinausa1
21/12/2007 07:18 | Well, a combination of some posters skills has got it right so far, with EBT annoucing that it has received an approach. Now who was it was talking about 8.5p? | azalea
18/12/2007 18:31 | Mobile phone industry rocking this Christmas | divinausa1
17/12/2007 17:53 | If Audley realises the potential packet from its stake in CBM via WCC, we could see some of the money going into making a further stake increase in EBT. | azalea
17/12/2007 17:35 | a few well kent faces here! on close watch. More assets on the cheap by the look of this. | hectorp
07/12/2007 13:18 | Audley European Opportunities Master Fund / John Redwood / Carphone Warehouse !?! :-) JT - news is leaking out - better be quick in your buying, otherwise someone else will snap up the shares ;-) | explorer88
07/12/2007 12:32 | fwiw, i think we may see Audley continuing to buy up to around 18-20p, adding a few more %, followed by an offer for the company at between 25p-30p. | explorer88
07/12/2007 12:21 | Here we go guys. Audley ups stake to 24.9%. Bid imminent (within 3-4 weeks?). Fill your boots whilst others are busy filling their Christmas stockings ... :-) (fwiw, check out UBQ and SRF for my own backstory in identifying previous bids this year) | explorer88
07/12/2007 11:20 | someone agrees by the look of the 250,000 buy just gone through | anusol
07/12/2007 11:05 | Well, we called that right - Audley has upped its stake to 24.9%! | azalea
05/12/2007 20:10 | fwiw, the maximum amount that Audley can buy before it has to make an offer for the whole company is about 15m further shares. azalea - i agree that facilitation is likely scenario and believe we now have at least two parties either already involved, or ready to be involved, with this scenario (one of whom is Audley). | explorer88
05/12/2007 18:35 | cordwainer 8-9p. In your dreams. In the event of a bid, Audley will not bid itself but could act as a facilitator; in which case I would expect it to up its stake beforehand. | azalea
05/12/2007 16:53 | d - i totally agree with your valuations, which is why i think we'll see a bid shortly (within the next 3-4 weeks?) :-) | explorer88
05/12/2007 16:49 | worth more than 25p they should be trading over 30p if the market was looking into 2008 dont get why PIs have been selling I can understand why Institutions have unloaded a few recently though | divinausa1
05/12/2007 16:02 | babylon1 - yes, today. bid from audley at around 25p shortly ? good luck ! :-) | explorer88 |
