RNS this afternoon shows that Goldman Sachs sold out almost all of its remaining RI shares of over 5% on Friday. No surprise that they got that done in a hurry before the trading update today. I'm sure they had no idea what was in it.

What is the point of raising money just to give it away and pay people to fly.

Goldman Sachs continuing to reduce its holding - see RNS this morning. Down from 6% to about 5.5% on the 5th October. Presumably they are much lower than that now. I imagine they've sold a lot more on the 6th and yesterday, but we will see as the notices come out.

As I've said before, the shareprice is unsustainably high for EZJ since it will be operating with lower profits and higher debt and no dividends for a long time to come. That is why Stelios hasn't bought into the rights issue and why Goldman Sachs is selling off. My guess is that the share price will be below £5 by the time the full-year trading update comes out, and there will likely be another drop when people see the continuing losses in black and white. Possibly a short-lived bounce again tomorrow - but there's no escaping EZJ's £2bn debt and the fact that business travel has been permanently reduced. The downward trend will inevitably resume imv.

One thing is for sure....it's going to be cheaper to go on holiday during the winter than pay for gas to stay warm !

The state the U.K. is gonna be in in six months nobody will be able to afford to fly anyway haha, covid red list or not. Delta, debt, poor management and parabolic energy costs, 4.50 here we come. Dump it, buy it back next spring and ride it back up a possible trade. I cant see IAG surviving the winter intact without gov’ help, the debt there is almost hysterical, no way they can service it on these volumes and nobody will buy yet more share issuance, coupled with the pension liability from years of dogsxxt unions, its terminal no pun intended. Hope you all shorted this when i said it was an epic short at over 8.50, the other greats short has been asos, have cleaned up on that, almost an embarrassing profit. Trade or SHORT basket case UK, but don’t INVEST in it!!

Compared to Wizz, Ryan Air and Jet2 this really is a pig in a poke. An extremely poorly run company.

A second RNS for Goldman Sachs showing a reducing holding of EZJ (11.53am today). On the 1st, we saw the RNS showing the rump placing shares which GS picked up (over 6%) and now on consecutive days we are seeing that holding getting sold off for a massive profit. The recent RNS applies to last week. About 18 million more shares to be sold by GS, plus the hundreds of millions picked up by other investors, still in profit until we get to £4.10.

Easy and scary to get caught out with stats.

A high percentage of hospital covid cases have been double-vaccinated. Thats sounds worrying until you ask the question: what would that figure be, if 100% of the population had been double-vaccinated ?

Should be taught at school, then we wouldn’t be quite so vulnerable to politicians false statistical arguments.

80% of drivers think they are above average driving ability?

That ought to be higher - it is worrying that 20% of these drivers are on our roads.
