AMT the oil price has very little impact on the day to day cost of jet fuel for easyJet. It does affect the long term hedge values but that is only by a sustained trend, a day or two up or down means nothing.
This time of year almost no fuel will be at spot. |
When oil price goes up, EasyJet price goes down! However, converse is not true unfortunately. |

I don't know why your are so rude to people who don't agree with your view.I only mentioned selling in December as that's when I sold mine. I thought it seemed to have reached a false peak and was going to drop back, which it has done. And I don't always get it right. I've bought a few shares over the years and almost immediately dumped them as i got it wrong.I may/will buy back in but only when my research points to a possible rise is the share price I haven't used a chart ever as for me a chart 100 percentage shows what has happened and never what is going to happen.I have no love or loyalty to any company or share.(even companies I have worked for)My only reason to buy a share is to make money and the moment I buy a share I also decide on a sell point |
EZY will find out the hard way with delay repayments that when you're selling package holidays it's a bigger bill. They never used to have to worry if a coach load didn't turn up at the airport. Well they will now and if that schedule doesn't have flexibility within it, it'll fall off the rails. It's a different market. |

Although historically done a lot of trips with this airline, I and my family are boycotting further travel with them, until they pay compensation for flight cancellation and associated costs. Been going on for nearly a year now.Thinking back also, the bulk of their flights for me have been delayed as well.Completely subjective, but this is one share I am avoiding. |

It's very easy to look at the chart like a child and say nonsense like that. I bought 34000 shares on Wednesday and banked 12.1p. I bought my first shares here in October 2023 well below £4. My investment is going well despite the current low valuation.
Do you know Andrew that today you could have won 12/1 on close combat at Exeter. Just think if you had the balls you could have put £10k on it and been a winner. Yes it's absolute nonsense but it is exactly the same thing. |

Lost???. Many of my shares are from October 23. Wednesday afternoon I added and booked the dividend.
I haven't lost or gained until I sell. That's going to be a few years away.
In the meantime I will collect the dividends and let the commercial progress weigh on the share price. |
