On another note you should have all listened to me on here when I said buy Tesla aeons ago (that means a long time tlobs) Up 550 pc in six months. Love it. Bought Taylor Woodrow at 1.09 as well, now 1.65..... If you have to be in an airline buy IAG, Ryanair and the US Jets ETF.

CITY crisis experts have parachuted into easyJet as it attempts to refinance more than £1.4bn of debt owed to taxpayers and lenders. From the DT “ Earlier this month it was revealed that easyJet still owes flights to up to five million passengers who could redeem their vouchers in a summer rush once a Covid-19 vaccination ¬≠programme is rolled out. This would add considerably to the airline’s financial woes as it would mean it may have to provide millions of flights that will not deliver extra revenues.”

BLOOMBERG - The U.K. is poised to become the first country to approve Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE’s Covid-19 vaccine, ahead of a long line of countries waiting for protection from the coronavirus. Clearance is possible as early as this week, according to a person familiar with the situation, who asked not to be identified because the process is confidential. The U.K. had long signaled it would move fast on any promising vaccine candidate, and British doctors have been put on standby for a possible rollout before Christmas. Russia and China have cleared vaccines for general use, but they’re unlikely to be adopted in the U.S. and Europe. The British government last week invoked a special rule allowing its drug regulator to bypass the European Union counterpart as the country prepares for the Brexit transition period to conclude at the end of this year. And the U.K.’s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency has started its own accelerated review. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-11-28/u-k-poised-to-be-first-to-approve-pfizer-biontech-covid-vaccine

200% surge in online flight and holiday searches for Easyjet between Mon and Weds last week... Once the vaccinations start expect this to rise exponentially. With increased demand comes premium prices and Easyjet should start raking the money in.. :-)

Lots of interest is booking short haul. Groups, associations I belong to where I curry the feelings of in excess of 250 people, never in my 56 years have I heard so much determination to have a holiday abroad 2021. Normally the mood is split 80 / 20 in favour of staying UK, this latest short survey suggests 80 / 20 in favour of having a summer holiday abroad. "Been cooped up" is being term being used a lot. I really do not believe that any has really gauged the mood nor the swing to getting things back on track will happen so fast. Furlough has ensured that majority of the working population has money in their pockets, and it may be the company i keep, but I have not heard of a single family struggling or being worse off during this crisis. Contraire most people are actually saying they are better off. No child care fees, no lunches out, no travel costs... There is a lot of spare cash around, and where better for it to go than on holidays. (Added TUI as well)

Graham I am sure that will be the case for the airlines great loading % and great margins. Think the speed of turnaround will surprise many.

Small snapshot: My children (in their 20s) say all their friends are planning to have a holiday abroad in the summer - if govt gives go-ahead.

No they don’t, Moderna and bioNgen are fine, well tested and good science, just the Astra that isn’t any good. Hopefully we get a soft brexit deal next week now Biden has told bunter to get it sorted, will help ez.

Regulators under immense pressure to ok the various vaccines. Too quick would make it look suspicious, too slow and they'll be blamed for more deaths. I'd give them a fortnight.
