I have no snobbish problems with Ryanair but O'Leary is clutching at straws if he thinks he can pick an arbitrary timetable to get back in the air. 23/4/2020 19:21 | For some reason many people expect to pay less for a flight then they would for a night out down the pub. Therefore many aircraft take off with 10s of defects and technical faults, often very tired flight crew. When I first started flying we would never leave base with one technical problem would either be fixed or we'd change aircraft, fully rested flight crew, with decent turn round times so virtually all our flights ran on time. I do not normally say utter rubbish, however I will this time. Like other viruses coronavirus is usually passed from one person to another by the spit from someones mouth when they are talking. When I flew for a Far Eastern airline, passengers with colds as did pilots with colds would come on board wearing face masks. No serving of refreshments is why ticket prices will have to rise by 50% as virtually all profit made by low cost airlines comes from the sale of overly priced refreshments. Therefore no longer can it be said that "now everyone can fly." I am not being pompous as usually flying on the likes of Swissair are no more expensive then flying on Easyjet if one includes the free food and drinks one is given on Swissair. Last time I flew on TAP Air Portugal Alicante-Lisbon-Heat Often on the likes of Ryanair they are full of kids screaming is why I call these airline 'screaming Kids Airlines" or SKAs for short whereas on the likes of Swissair, KLM and TAP the youngsters on board are usually quiet and well behave. If one has a 12 to 15 year old they can not fly on their own on the likes of Ryanair or Easyjet where as on Swissair, KLM, TAP, Lufthansa they can and are called 'Young Adults.' Last time I flew on Easyjet I struggled to understand the English of some of the cabin crew which I felt to be unsafe if these cabin crew had to give instructions in an emergency whereas KLM cabin crew all speak excellent English. Easyjet passenger ground handling is done by third parties, by the likes of DHL and not by their own employed staff as they often are by the likes of KLM why do not hear of passenger having problems when needing assistance from KLM ground staff as one hear from third party employed Ryanair ground staff. If there are any delays Ryanair treat their passengers as scum whereas Swissair, KLM etc treat their passengers as decent human-beings. Ryanair as I said, I wouldn't touch them with a barch pole, even if they were giving away their flights for free. | loganair | |

No serving of good or drinks onboard so passengers have no reason to remove their masks. OK for Domestic and European flights. As this is where most airlines make their money will mean ticket prices will need to rise by around 50% which will decrease the number of people flying. Will also mean no need for cabin crew to constantly be walking up and down the aircraft, just once before take-off and once before landing to make sure all passengers are safely strapped in. 3. Then to board an aircraft strictly by rows, starting with the back first so people walking through do not infect passengers in rows closer to the front. 4. Disembark from the first row, then the second row stands up to disembark and so on. This process will mean boarding and disembarking will be much slower and take longer. | loganair | |
