In the United States a passenger on Jetblue aircraft diagnosed with coronavirss and aircraft was stuck on tarmac for over 2 hours.

When the other passengers where disembarking they were told they are OK to go on with their lives as normal which the passenger says is ridiculous and they do not know what to do because they are not being given professional advise.

US President Donald Trump said any foreign citizens who have been to a country in the European Schengen zone within the past two weeks will not be allowed to enter the United States.

This applies to people who have been to Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

India bans tourists


India has barred the entry of all foreign tourists for one month starting tomorrow in a bid to contain the coronavirus.

The ban on foreign visitors includes foreign nationals of Indian origin. Only diplomats, officials and members of international organisations such as the UN are exempt.

All travellers arriving from, or having visited, Italy, Iran, China, south Korea, France, Spain and Germany after 5 February will be quarantined for 14 days.

European leaders have responded to President Donald Trump’s decision to impose restrictions on travel to the U.S. from 26 countries in Europe, saying that the coronavirus pandemic is a “global crisis” and not limited to “any continent.”

As I understand it, European citizens will not be allowed to enter the USA therefore would not be able to fly from the UK to the USA.

Problem is, US and UK carriers are fast cutting international capacity. The bookings have dried up in a big way. It all depends on what can be done now in terms of managing costs and seeing through this storm.
