25/10/2016 13:16 | Or you could say you dont know the answer? I dont. EZJ do not just maintain their planes in Malta, but its not really an issue as far as I'm concerned. | andy pipkin
25/10/2016 13:04 | QP and Pipkin are the self announced experts in all re aviation so I am sure they will respond in full | mastey
25/10/2016 11:29 | no one responded? does ryanair trade in EUR or Sterling? surely easyjet is undervalued compared to Ryanair? easyjet maintenance facilities are in Malta, hence an Euro country, where do Ryanair service their planes? | tur43
25/10/2016 10:35 | If the reports are true re Heathrow ( still long way before actually happening) value of easy to Gatwick increased and slit values at Gatwick rise | mastey
25/10/2016 10:33 | Interesting read thank you. Re QP lucking and down marking posts , I take it as a complement especially as he has no answer to the forward thinking put forward and of course hard facts | mastey
25/10/2016 10:15 | Andy Pipkin25 Oct '16 - 09:32 - 3808 of 3809 0 0 I disagree. Its pricing in marginal falls, not the plunge I believe is happening.////// Andy Thicko Pipkin, take a look at 'On the Beach' who had better than expected numbers in their results today, they disagree with you. As you are not a 'full shilling' that's not surprising! | 12bn
25/10/2016 10:12 | QP lurking and down-marking posts again - lol Come out and face the rising share price like a man ;) | suffersnofools
25/10/2016 10:05 | That travel agent with 30% winter bookings is that because last year he booked 3 holidays and so far this year he has just booked 2? Or is he trying to book holidays to Mosul or somewhere similar? | csmwssk12hu
25/10/2016 09:32 | I disagree. Its pricing in marginal falls, not the plunge I believe is happening. | andy pipkin
25/10/2016 09:30 | Currency is now key for short term annoucements. Currency is now really about political headlines. The initial posturing of EU and the U.K is going to continue in public but ultimately the EU has to be careful as if UK goes into recession then the EU will and are they just one more recession away from the euro collapse? Can they risk this. Anyway if we see euro/ sterling break .8870 then chance to fall to .88 quite quickly. This will help sterling against all and very positive for easy | mastey
25/10/2016 09:27 | The problem you have Andy is that the current share price is pricing in a much greater drop in earnings compared to what the co is stating is the case. So even poor numbers ahead has the capacity to push the price up. Not a comfortable position for the shorts. I mean have you seen the multiple? It's screaming buy me :) "pricing in material future value destruction" far in excess of that assumed for Ryanair, which has risen to a record premium relative to EasyJet based on 2017 earnings, said UBS.Yet EasyJet has plenty of flexibility left to cushion earnings by cutting costs, said UBS. And with expectations having already fallen more than 40 per cent from the recent peak, earnings risk is now "at least neutral", it said. | suffersnofools
25/10/2016 09:25 | Fatso Pipkin seems to have 'done a runner' since I posted,or I should say more of a slug like crawl back under his rock. The real reason why he doesn't like easyjet is because they made the fat 45 stone slob pay for 3 seats before they would let the mountain of lard on the plane. :) | 12bn
25/10/2016 09:12 | Andy Pipkin25 Oct '16 - 08:44 - 3797 of 3802 0 0 Believe what you want to believe. I am making up nothing.////// Says Andy Pinocchio Pipkin as his nose grows ever longer! :) He's a professional investor you know! LOL | 12bn
25/10/2016 09:11 | He might, but I dont. It will be impossible for ezj to show any growth this year imo. IMPOSSIBLE. | andy pipkin
25/10/2016 09:09 | "Based on current forecasts easyJet's valuation appears favourable compared to the historic trading multiples," UBS told investors. "We now place easyJet on a slight recovery multiple." | suffersnofools
25/10/2016 09:06 | Mastey - still odd given how much credence QP puts in BN's that he hasn't mentioned the UBS one :) | suffersnofools
25/10/2016 08:56 | QP is back. Take a read of the UBS note yesterday. Very interesting as they compare Ryan and Easy. Very positive for Easy and rather than just words , followed with facts. | mastey
25/10/2016 08:54 | according to SNF, its not true, and business is booming. LOL! | andy pipkin
25/10/2016 08:48 | Wednesday 19th. October. FT. Lex Column about the Ryanair profits warning:- "..suggests that European aviation will be grim over the winter. RyanAir shares have done less badly than peers so far. Expect that trend to continue-" A grim winter for European aviation. Indeed. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
25/10/2016 08:44 | Believe what you want to believe. I am making up nothing. | andy pipkin
25/10/2016 08:43 | Maybe it's just a rubbish travel agent. | goodapple
25/10/2016 08:43 | Andy - give it up mate - we know you're making it up.One of the key reasons that EZJ will outperform Ryanair and others is their increasing share of the business travel market. Any fall in tourist volume will hurt their competitors more. | suffersnofools
25/10/2016 08:37 | I spoke to a friend of mine, who runs a travel agent, and he told me winter break bookings are down over 30% from this time last year. Doubtless the bulls will say thats good for ezj. | andy pipkin
25/10/2016 08:20 | That is indeed a Professional LOL :-) | tlobs2 |
