More like £600m to £650m |
The Q4 update on the 11th or 14th October will be a pleaser. I would like to see a Q4 profit ranging £720-740m. That will be a substantial step up from last year. However I think that there's a real chance that they may substantially exceed that number given the disruption and cancellations have been minimal. It will be a record Q4 for sure. |
My target in the short term is £6 |
SP had a good run. Be interesting to see if it approaches earlier year highs. November results fast approaching. Need to knock it out the park to propel the share price to 6 squid and beyond (imo). |
It’s no longer a paper profit , I’ve sold today
RSI is near the highest it’s been this year (It was higher last week), maybe overbought |
Sapphire makes alot of noise tbf. But generally calls it wrong, she promised £6 by the end of April 2024. |
The share price is nonsense at this level. It may value the airline but nothing for the unique and rapidly growing in profitability holiday business. £7+ would make some sense given they are making all the right noises |
Sapphires all for ripping off the public it seems.
Meanwhile I’m in profit (paper) of over 15%, whilst she is still grasping for air |
Easyjet are selling seats on routes to Tel Aviv. Obviously they have until two weeks before to cancel and refund. I am sure that they will take the interest on the fares and refund if nothing has changed. They set a date way in the future. They have done this into a period where they have excess capacity. They were very quick to bin them all before and redeploy resources to the med summer routes. If they go ahead they will be good earners at £180+ starting prices. |
March 25 that's six months away. Clearly they won't say never. There are no aircraft and no staff |
EASYJET The UK budget airline stopped flying to and from Tel Aviv in April and will resume flights on March 30, 2025, a spokesperson said.
What planet are you on Sapphire |
Yes easyJet has no exposure to Israel at all. |
Happy to hold, ignore the drivel... |
So upto about £120m (less after tax) as dividend, what does that work out per share? |
But we know that they intend to utilise 20% of the profit after tax to dividends. |
Needs to be a divi here-and not just a token 1% BS-partially accounts for a lack of interest in many UK midcaps. Investors need more than hope for holding UK equities, esp with a Labour government handing out freebies to unions. |
Bank of America forecast 31% rise to 685Still a long way to go. Definitely hold longFinancial year end 30-09-2024 hopefully some good news and good figures. |
Sapphire’s all in at much higher prices, obviously she doesn’t want anyone to sell and take a profit as she needs you to bail her out. |
Can someone ask sapphire about the pilots pay day for me. I'm hidden because I knew something they didn't...which infuriated them. |
Seems crazy to me selling out now. The share price is ridiculous. I have had these since October 23 and I am staying for the impact of the commercial success on the profit and the share price. The ebb and flow doesn't interest me. |
Sold out of my position here 5.15. Avg was 4.63. GL to all current & future shareholders. Need to fund another position. |
BBC News - Inflation rate holds steady in August at 2.2%https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4g927qykywoAlthough inflation holds 2.2% it mentions large monthly rise in airfares compared to this time last year which must be good for airlines travelling specially to European destinations ! |
Bigbertie1, yeh i do!! |
