It's also worth bearing in mind that Gatemore and CEO, Lloyd Dunn, hold 42% between them. Delivering the company in a takeover is pretty easy and low risk for an acquirer.

I think it's worth pointing out, in case anyone doesn't know, that Rutej is an analyst for Gatemore, who have a 31.22% holding in DX. That's doesn't negate what he's saying but he's not an independent analyst.

Having said that I'm long DX. so I'm not disagreeing with his thesis...

Great post Rutej - and to add to your analysis it'll be ripe for potential takeover target as rumoured by some on this board - given backgrounds of the current board etc

Crux of my thesis:

1. Significant scope for margin expansion within DX Freight
2. Sector tailwinds
3. Cheap on EV/EBITDA and high FCF yield
4. Fixing complete; poised to scale

Hi everyone, I recently wrote a Seeking Alpha article on DX arguing why the best is yet to come and why I believe there remains significant upside:

Guys, we're well off piste here.
Please may we get back to DX. There's still some money to be made and the usual mature and professional discussions are invaluable.
