Thanks for that. I don't disagree with the article but to be fair you are talking your own book a little as you're an analyst with Gatemore who own 36% of DX. However what is true is that management have a pile of options which vest from 12.5p, so at 11.9p they are massively incentivised to get the price up from here. Although the ebitda of DX is only £3.3m compared to a market cap of £68.3m, the Express Division makes an ebitda of £26.9m and must be worth double the market cap. If they can get the Freight Division into profit then I'm guessing a sale could get us up to 40p when all of managements incentives vest. With Gatemore and management owning close to 50% that should be pretty easy to deliver.

Major positive for me is that the second half of year is profitable at PBT level. Interims loss before tax £5.3m, final results loss before tax £1.7m. So actually made £3.6m PBT in H2.

Very low margin if any at all .. therefore we should see the removal of operational costs that virtually negates the revenue loss .

Not surprised to see a fall following yesterday's news but I think the share price is going to recover quickly from it and get back on track towards 20p. Under the old guard this would have been a far more serious problem imo but with what is happening under the new team, I can't see it being a big deal by the time it actually falls off the books.

Depreciation is running at about £4m a year. Interest shouldn't be more than £0.4m. So that's a profit of ~£3 - 3.5m. Imagine they've substantial tax losses to cover any tax. I imagine such a result would leave them cash neutral or positive (net debt at 31.12.18 = £3.5m). I wonder if the HMPO contract was very low margin and the loss represents them taking a view that they are not going to be busy fools...
