I doubt it he seems to have taken a long term view on this one. I think it's just pi's selling as they are getting bored. I still have my load and will be topping up if the price gets lower.

It's not about lack of progress
The planning application process is all public domain stuff - and the process has to run its course
It would just be good if the company was upfront and managed expectations accordingly

I agree. it is very bad that a FTSE quoted company, rather than an AIM company, can keep its shareholders in the dark for so long. Surely some sort of RNS outlining progress (if any) and a likely timetable should be issued.

i called Liverpool city council today and spoke to the planning department to find out where we are up to in the process of getting planning permission granted..

they informed me, and this is public domain stuff, a decision is not due

UNTIL

24/09/2018

and often these timings overrun...


So that's a tad disappointing...

more disappointing is the BOD don't feel any need or responsibility to keep shareholders updated and manage expectations accordingly

Come along chaps - this isn't rocket science, it's just minimum standards of corporate etiquette

The property deal seems to be on track. They are still waiting for full planning permission which hopefully should be forthcoming in August.

Aren't we awaiting news on funding? That's not a solicitor's issue...we were told there was a funder and now nothing...the phrase about parties & breweries is starting to form..

Anything to do with property deals always take far longer than expected as solicitors nitpick the last details. That's my hope anyway. Of course the reality could be worse - the deal has hit a serious stumbling block. Some info from the board would be welcome.
