DQ Entertainment and Method Animation partner to co-produce 52x11' CGI TV series 5 & IT
Accord Fintech
DQ Entertainment (DQE) and Method Animation have joined forces to produce the CGI TV series '5 & IT', a modern adaption of the much loved and famous book,'5 Children & It', by Edith Nesbit.
This beautiful project is being co-produced with Disney Channel Germany and supported by Noga, Israel. Disney Channel France has pre-acquired the show. This TV series has received wide ranging interest from broadcasters and licensing agents globally, and it will be available for broadcast on channels across the world by mid-2017.
The series follows the adventures and escapades of five children after they befriend a sand fairy at their uncle's beachfront mansion. The sand fairy, Psammead, offers to grant them one wish each day. Amazing as it sounds, each wish they are being granted brings unwanted consequences, the effect of which cannot be reversed until sunset.
DQ Entertainment is a global entertainment group with its production and distribution bases in Ireland, India, France, Manila and US, specializing in animation, gaming and VFX content production.

Possible hostile takeover : not sure if this happened what price might be offered. Arguably the minimum would be around 9p where the (probable) concert party must have purchased at their highest rate. However, if the offer was greater, say @ 15p, there would be more likelihood of it coming off.

Surely news of an EGM will soon be coming.

Spoke to Advisors Buchanan and Nomad Alex Brearley at Allenby.

Nothing really disclose or new to report. Alex states the 'Blue Book' on takeovers covered by I-of-Man and the UK is about 100 pages long and wouldn't commit to 'if a Concert party holds over 30% they must make an offer for the whole company'. However, I believe that to be the case.

The letter regarding a PURPORTED requisition for EGM is just using the word PURPORTED as that is standard legal jargon at this stage until the letter's contents are validated.

Looks to me like we will hear from DQE fairly quickly as they will have a bit of work to do before such a meeting(circulars, etc) and they have no case I can see to deny one.

I'm leaning to a takeover at about 9p in the offing. My average is 10p but beggars can't be choosers - if anyone's got a much higher average it might be prudent to average down while one still can DYOR etc.

here and there - well it must have been you then, in another lifetime - lol.

Can't make my mind on this takeover idea.

Looks like a lot of trouble getting your Computer Services buddies to buy up 29% to push your (Platinum consulting) combined total over 51% just to get a good say on the Board. Platinum, I think, have been invested a while but Corp. Computer Serv. are just since April.

Maybe the Nomad might enlighten - I'll try.

here and there - thanks for ideas.

IMO it doesn't look like a takeover attempt as why approach it this way? They seem to be acting together but are not putting a syndicate together that compels a complete offer to be forthcoming.

Very interesting times here, put in a few film, TV contracts and we'll have everything. I'm averaging 10p and am really hoping this might get up there soon.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken but are you the guy that advised me not to sell at around 31p when last I was about level? I've averaged down quite a bit since then, attempting to get out alive.

Hi Xxx

We are having discussion with our Nomads and lawyers on this. As of now we have no clarity. I am sorry but we have no idea at what price they have acquired the shares.

With kind regards

Rashida

They have had a meeting prior to today's RNS.

They intend to work with the company. Today's news was a surprise.

As Tapaas is integral to everything the company has ,is and will do, they kind of have to. He has all the contacts and has made all the deals. A very well respected operator.

I suspect that they saw value as the company is so cheap; they want to ensure that their investment is respected; they have control of over half the stock; they can dictate some seats on the board; I would do the same thing if i was them.

Remember they are shareholders, like us. they don't have those juicy options that the management has. Their interests are probably more in aline with ours than managements.

Management should have offered them a spot on the board earlier in the year when they saw they had such a significant shareholder
