Well spotted boadicea. Still an encouraging performance and as you state against the GDPR/Brexit background. Hopefully in 6 months time, the Brexit issue will be clearer.

The cash increase of 59% is a 12 month figure, not six months, and mostly occurred in the second half of the previous financial year. The cash icrease for the six months now reported was £1.672M - so a slightly misleading statement unless analysed carefully. Otherwise a creditable and encouraging performance, especially against the background of GDPR and Brexit uncertainties.

Well done to the BOD, what a great set of results.Group revenue up by 33% and cash up by 59% to £16.7m with continued expansion, particularly in the US.Onwards and upwards and hope the second half is as good

interesting article in today's IC speculating DOTD could be a takeover target due to it's currently historically low PE ratio.

It cites 'the recent acquisition of UK-based email marketing provider Adestra by a US-listed company.'

It's either 1)they are worried about the challenging climate in 2019, which Patel refers to, or the old adage "buy on rumour sell on fact". Everything looks good to me here, other than the macro-economic picture which has kept funds out of the UK mkt as a result of the uncertainty over Brexit. Any other views appreciated.

If you think the company has good products, is cash generative and profitable and well run, then why sell. I'm looking for another top up but there are also other bargains out there.

There's the RNS. Not Simon Bird but LIONTRUST INVESTMENT PARTNERS LLP selling.

They bought on 29/10 and then sold on 7/11 & 30/11. Not entirely consistent!

I would surmise that they are selling for reasons unrelated to DOTD's performance. That's the problem with bear markets. The good ones get sold along with the bad ones as investors seek to plug gaps in their portfolios.

This blip may have been due to a contributor to sharepad posting a company analysis. Positive but pointing out the cash reduction and capex increase investing in things which should increase future earnings but like all investments, is a cash usage and accounted for now.
Any sharepad users who didn’t interpret it that way may have bailed out

Two large sales on Tuesday went through – so maybe MM’s getting some stock by dropping the price who knows. DYOR. No connection to sharepad apart from as a long-time user
