22/11/2017 08:23 | This seems to be a very logical acquisition and the market likes it too. I wondered what they would do to extend their email coverage to social media. I assumed they were developing something in house. | nhb001

18/10/2017 00:22 | I like the way growth seems to be accelerating into the second half and their international expansion seems to be gaining traction which gives them a huge potential market out there. Enough for many years of growth. As has been observed, strong hints of an acquisition. However, they were bitten by their previous acquisition of Netcallidus a few years back. It was an internet search optimisation business - however, Google changed their search parameters and they ended up closing it down. They won't have forgotten that so I imagine will be careful. As I bought the bulk of my holding at 7.8p, it's now one of those rare and welcome beasts for me - a ten bagger. Not claiming it's going to do the same again, but, barring accidents there is a lot of potential here still and I am happy to hold. | pentangle
17/10/2017 19:46 | looking at the strong ressies, zero debt, & fibs i would say c.106p tech target is nailed on - and with a possibility of a little overshoot (ten bags from the original break at 11.7=117p=top of channel) - its bounced off the 62% retrace twice which is also the base of the rising log channel - intact since 2012 - and with those results will obv stay intact | luckymouse
17/10/2017 15:37 | I did some calculations this morning and post the update and breakout it looks good up to around 90p IMHO. My thinking was 77.5p was the previous high, there's an eps beat of 10%, it's now four months since the previous high and with growth running at c20% pa gives: 77.5p x 1.1 x 1.067 = 90.96p. Alternatively you could just take the 12p broker upgrade and add to the 77.5p, either way IMO it looks promising so I added at 77p & 79p. GLA | alphabeta4
17/10/2017 14:36 | A great business with zero liabilities on their balance sheet which is a rare trait to have. It speaks volume to their competitive advantage. There is one thing that would interest you. How many clients do they have in total? Average revenue per user rose to £715 per month from £575. Annual revenue per user totals £8,480. With revenue at £32m, divide this by £8,480 gives Dotdigital 3,773 clients. This year they added over 550 clients. I don’t know much about the business, so can’t give an opinion of their valuation. 17/10/2017 13:42 | Doesn't look as though Finn have altered their 06/18 f'casts which is a tad disappointing given the acceleration of business in H2 including strong growth in under exploited overseas markets. Heavy hints at poss m&a in near future but the shares deserve a higher than peer group rating in my view as a reward for the clear strategy and strong cash flow. | sspurt
17/10/2017 09:39 | There's always a concern with companies with cash burning a hole in their pockets of a misjudged acquisition but the intentions/criteria stated in today's announcement seem sensible. I also note the references to artificial intelligence which DOTD's much bigger competitors like Marketo are introducing into their products, so this may require investment or an acquisition. | valhamos

01/9/2017 09:59 | They changed our account managers without telling us and the new account manager had not contacted us before the expiry date. Spoken to him now. Not confidence inspiring. DOTD put customer care first otherwise the growth will slow and customers will migrate to businesses where they are better looked after. OD | obiterdicta |
