hTTps://finance.yahoo.com/news/edited-transcript-dmp-ax-earnings-052208372.html DP Enterprises own 66% of Germany, very bullish on progress if you read the relevant bits. So this will be some good news to come from plc next week as this wasn't really covered at their analyst day.

I take it you checked out the weekly charts and indicators before selling Andrew? And Q4 results due on the 12th, with at least 20% short covering in the last week?

AndrewBaker6 Mar '19 - 12:56 - 3168 of 3169 0 0 0 Well, I've sold out now; not waiting for the divi and risking the fall back that will come ... Andrew - you've completely contradicted yourself. Days ago you were saying jump aboard for the divi. The price has gone virtually nowhere, and you're now expecting a collapse because its about to go ex-div.

hTTps://ibb.co/pZsL0R6 Indeed. You can even draw a support line on the short interest chart here and suggest that once this support is broken, you are more likely then to see an end to the current downtrend? Short interest might even bounce off this support, and see the share price drift lower. Time will tell.

The jump today suggests people are buying for the dividend: get in quick before it moves even higher.

The price has slid lower again this week, and it's going ex-d in a couple weeks; so those wanting a dividend stock for income would do well to buy before then.

Has anybody noticed they bought their own shares yesterday for cancellation, so that should put just a little icky bit on the price. So, if you buy now, down a few pence from the cancellation price paid, you could get a little bonus fillip in the price when the cancellation does get noticed.

Any franchisee spat doesn't hold much water I'm afraid. No-one forces a franchisee to approach Dominos to open a store; the franchisee should know what costs/risks/rewards are involved, otherwise they wouldn't do it. And if franchisees want a bigger share of profits, they should invest in the company as shareholders. This is the real world. That said, I would have thought DOM might have a discounted scheme for franchisees to buy shares? The share buyback scheme will have beneficial tax implications for the group. Slashing prices/profit won't be beneficial.

What next increasing the large pizza from £18.99 to £21.99 because the franchisee wants a bigger cut of the profits? LOL hTtps://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/dominos-franchisees-unhappy-with-boss-david-wild-halt-new-stores-in-profits-row-rkvnhbkbf Let's do more share buybacks instead because that helps the customer and franchisee.

Smurfy. Good idea, why not give out free pizzas. Maybe not soo good if you are a shareholder. This is not a customer feedback site. You need WWW.Dominosdonotgiveatoss.com

Stock Watch - Domino's Pizza After it took the cutter to full-year profit forecasts, shares in Domino's Pizza have been about as appetising to investors as leftovers from one of its stuffed crusts. Step forward Peel Hunt, which has retained a 'Buy' recommendation. Currently 247.1p (down 1p, or 0.4 per cent), the broker reckons the stock is worth 325p. Analyst Douglas Jack said: 'The price underestimates long-term expansion potential, and overestimates the short-term downside risk from fewer store openings.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-6697745/MARKET-REPORT-Traders-urged-dining-beleaguered-Just-Eat.html

@Farnes The profit is in U.K. spending more money in Europe could be throwing good money after bad. I am suprised also that they are not making Europe work and agree should be there. But sweating the British assets would not be a mistake either

I quite like that the group isn't looking to new franchisees at the moment - conscious that they don't want to potentially cannibalize UK sales. It's all about European growth then. Monthly chart starting to look encouraging too. The tide may be turning.
