Has anybody noticed they bought their own shares yesterday for cancellation, so that should put just a little icky bit on the price. So, if you buy now, down a few pence from the cancellation price paid, you could get a little bonus fillip in the price when the cancellation does get noticed.

Any franchisee spat doesn't hold much water I'm afraid. No-one forces a franchisee to approach Dominos to open a store; the franchisee should know what costs/risks/rewards are involved, otherwise they wouldn't do it. And if franchisees want a bigger share of profits, they should invest in the company as shareholders. This is the real world. That said, I would have thought DOM might have a discounted scheme for franchisees to buy shares? The share buyback scheme will have beneficial tax implications for the group. Slashing prices/profit won't be beneficial.

What next increasing the large pizza from £18.99 to £21.99 because the franchisee wants a bigger cut of the profits? LOL hTtps://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/dominos-franchisees-unhappy-with-boss-david-wild-halt-new-stores-in-profits-row-rkvnhbkbf Let's do more share buybacks instead because that helps the customer and franchisee.

Stock Watch - Domino's Pizza After it took the cutter to full-year profit forecasts, shares in Domino's Pizza have been about as appetising to investors as leftovers from one of its stuffed crusts. Step forward Peel Hunt, which has retained a 'Buy' recommendation. Currently 247.1p (down 1p, or 0.4 per cent), the broker reckons the stock is worth 325p. Analyst Douglas Jack said: 'The price underestimates long-term expansion potential, and overestimates the short-term downside risk from fewer store openings.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-6697745/MARKET-REPORT-Traders-urged-dining-beleaguered-Just-Eat.html

@Farnes The profit is in U.K. spending more money in Europe could be throwing good money after bad. I am suprised also that they are not making Europe work and agree should be there. But sweating the British assets would not be a mistake either

I quite like that the group isn't looking to new franchisees at the moment - conscious that they don't want to potentially cannibalize UK sales. It's all about European growth then. Monthly chart starting to look encouraging too. The tide may be turning.

philanderer. In the Domino’s franchises page. Check franchise availability and you will find No new sites. I have a high st. Property and they weren’t interested to buy, let or offer franchise for the site in London. Where do they get franchises don’t want to open new sites from . Doesn’t make sense

Check out Liberum performance. hxxps://www.sharesmagazine.co.uk/broker-views/performance A monkey with a stick could make better predictions, maybe that is what they are using. Liberum staff are probably employed to feed the monkey and change its diaper.

Liberum have been reiterating sell for ages. Shorts have been increasing. Probably in their pockets. They are just a bunch of crooks. If the share price does go down, it will be to their benefit. Also Sunday Times keeps re-pumping story about franchisee dissent, no doubt part of a multi faceted attack to get chance to close shorts at a reasonable price.

I checked franchise availability in U.K. . They are not taking any new applications. U.K. is the main driver of growth so far. With no new franchises , where will future growth come from. There is over 5% short on this stock.

Domino’s in good health, says Peel Hunt Domino’s (DOM) has shrugged off the negative sentiment of the past year to show it is in good health, says Peel Hunt. Analyst Douglas Jack retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and trimmed his target price from 350p to 325p on news UK like-for-like sales rose by 4.5% in the fourth quarter, and by 4.6% over the full year. The shares fell 8.7% to 250.1p yesterday. He said there was ‘negative sentiment’ over the past year related to the UK franchise model but its latest trading update ‘has shown it to be in good health’, although the business still needed to prove itself overseas. Thing is their international pizza's are MUCH cheaper than in the UK they must have cottoned on to how terrible the pizza's are. UK love being mugs and buying terrible pizza for £18.99 with barely any toppings !! - Domino's international division set to post a loss of £3m-£4m for 2018 - Norway especially weak, with like-for-like sales down 6.5% - Shares in Domino's Pizza fell 8.4 per cent to 250.9p after the update Domino's forced to trim down its profit forecast despite popularity of 'cheeseburger' pizzas as it is held back by floundering international business Neil Wilson, chief market analyst at Markets.com, said: 'Dominos franchisee strife looks set to weigh on growth prospects as it will impact the store rollout in the UK and Ireland. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/markets/article-6643867/Dominos-forced-trim-profit-forecast-despite-popularity-cheeseburger-pizzas.html

Presentation webcast is worth a listen, I caught the last hour and a bit where they deal with franchisee issues and analyst questions. Liberum questions were more pointed than they usually are at these events (they have a sell rating) so it was good to see the response. The new Operations Director Scott Bush seems to talk a good game and they were painting a positive picture re franchisee relationships.
