Extracts from Liberum sell reiteration: "In a year when the CEO's LTIPS vest we would like to see a more detailed analysis of the EPS support provided by share buybacks, M&A and underlying performance and on what basis and why the LTIPS are calculated" "In a drive to higher earnings the group is buying back shares at 25x PE which we ask if that is really in the interests of shareholders- we know it is LTIP supportive in the current year" "No long term targets have been given on any of the Group's new markets, deals or M&A and we ask how it can be in shareholders' interests to be buying back shares at current levels. Considering today's shock announcement highlights that all is not good internally." I checked DOM's website and the CFO has already been removed from the site! Someone over on the FT website quipped that their CFO's only last 'Four Seasons'...

Can long term holders here remember that when the other CFOs went did the share price bounce back eventually?

Ginsberg retired from the position as CFO. He is currently a director at Patisserie Holdings with Luke Johnson (ex Pizza Express).

Morning robin , I can't remember if a reason was given when Lee Ginsberg left. Strange no reason given for Rachel Osborne's departure ?

The revolving door in the CFO position is a fairly recent phenomenon at DOM. Lee Ginsberg held the post for 10 years from 2004 - 2014.

Sunday Telegraph....... The British appetite for takeaway pizza shows no sign of slowing down, says James Ashton in the Sunday Telegraph’s Questor column. Ironically the World Cup football tournament will only serve to boost sales with households ordering more stodge to crowd around television sets. Since Domino's listed in 1999 shares have been a one-way bet. However sales growth has been slowing, while deals to create a European network are likely to eat a lot of resources and management time. Domino’s chief executive David Wild is planning around 80 stores openings a year, and the chain is likely to benefit from the decline in mid-market chain restaurants – ordering pizza tends to be cheaper than eating out. But can the growth of the last few years really be replicated? Questor points out that shares are currently trading at 21 times next year’s forecast earnings, which is below a historical average of 24 times. It adds: ‘But Questor doesn’t think the future will be as tasty as the past, no matter how many goals the England team score’. Hold, it suggests.
