By Adam Clark An executive at Australia's Domino's Pizza Enterprises Ltd. (DMP.AU) has denied a media report that he is being lined up as the next chief executive of struggling U.K. chain Domino's Pizza Group PLC (DOM.LN). Sky News reported Thursday that Andrew Rennie, CEO for Europe at Domino's Pizza Enterprises, was the leading candidate to be the next head of the London-listed company, replacing David Wild. The report sent shares of Domino's Pizza Group PLC up more than 10%, after issues with its international business and reported conflicts with U.K. franchisees knocked the stock over the last 12 months. However, Domino's Pizza Enterprises subsequently issued a statement on Friday saying there is "no substance" to the report and Mr. Rennie has confirmed he is committed to his current role. "As a senior executive in this business, and a significant holder of DMP shares, I am invested in our future and look forward to delivering on the growth plans we have outlined to the market," Mr. Rennie said in the statement.

Significant timing from a technical pov. A break of descending triangle at 262 would now hopefully be decent support. Lets see if theres any after market volume. Edit - looks like trading was suspended briefly for 5 mins just before 1600?

Such a disappointing SP, but one I feel is fair value at the moment sadly. They really need to get international firing to move this now, and that is looking less plausible in the short term with each RNS.

Another troll by the username lsehotdealz haha, share price is stagnant and there’s talks of fundraise at 10p on that board lol desperation has lead to going round posting on different board to prevent share price from dropping, usually ud stay quiet and average down and accumulate if you see huge potential lmaoo he’s spamming all the boards

Very good question. Probably a much tougher market. Rents are probably higher, population snobbier going for artisan pizzas, distance to market. And like you say, testing the market seems plausible.

A question I had is why expand into Sweden and not have a branch in Stockholm? You'd think with 5 times the population of Malmo it would be a no-brainer. Unless they are in some kind of 'beta' stage and still testing the market, but how long do you need to test for? Ongoing success of international franchisees is very important to Domino's profits, but this is largely outside of its control. Is this risk being overlooked by US investors who have pushed the firm's shares to all-time highs this year?
