08/6/2015 13:01 | Finally taken over by the Brother printing company. | urgentclick
12/3/2015 11:15 | Some happy shareholders here | brahmsnliszt
16/12/2014 10:56 | Agree quality company but hardly high growth - they did 36p EPS in 2010 and are forecasting flat results for next year. | ![]() cockerhoop
16/12/2014 08:32 | This must be one of the quietest threads on ADVFN but a supurb company in a relativly niche area. Results ahead of brokers estimates and (imo) p/e not excessive for a growth company. (historic on 2014 results at 640p I make 16) Nice dividend too and net cash of £40 million. Possibly one to buy and keep, unless things change. (dyor etc - not an investment recommendation but probably one to look at) Declaration I hold form 2008. | ![]() pugugly
04/10/2014 07:30 | Mirabaud analyst Steve Clayton“Don&rs - Today, 8:30 AM | joan1234
24/6/2014 21:36 | "We are cautious about prospects for the business in 2015. The Board believes that results next year could be broadly similar to 2014 as a result of the competitive pricing environment in Asia and other developing markets and the need for additional investment in R&D." Beyond medium term, few western companies can retain technological edges that they have enjoyed. | ![]() quickmind
24/6/2014 15:36 | Mr market appears to reckon now ex growth - I make both traiing and forward p/e based on today's news at offer of 616p about 15.7 which for a niche cash positive and market leading supplier - even with growing copmpetition- could offer a low entry price. Declaration I hold but will be looking to top up if falls further. | ![]() pugugly
13/3/2013 17:01 | Rough sell off after 2pm today? I don't hold but the selling has piqued my interest, am I missing something, can't see an RNS? | markrogers88
04/2/2013 16:44 | Looks like recent run up is running out of steam. Outlook not bright so any market sell off could hit share price | ![]() uhound
14/12/2012 14:15 | no bud, I'm saying that blue line has been important, as both support and resistance ... coming off it 7 times since Sept ... but the red can't be ignored, looks a good bet if blue breaks properly | n3tleylucas
14/12/2012 08:08 | So are you saying that since the price has stayed above the blue line for the last couple of days it's llikely to stay up? | greentrident
11/12/2012 11:35 | Triggered my stop loss on its way down but I'm pretty sure these shares are still worth having so will be looking for the bottom and hoping for a bounce! | greentrident
11/12/2012 11:24 | RNS out today - roller coaster share price - automatic trades are confusing the true value .... down down down but they have possibly bottomed in the £5.60's. Hoping for some manual buy backs at ever decreasing bargains :O) | nugacity
10/12/2012 12:48 | I have worked with domino printers for a few years now, my company (Marden Edwards) being a customer. We use there labelling machines on our cigaret production lines, we have assisted in them breaking further into the tobacco industry. We have some big projects on with ITL.Consumables as stated above will include ink, but also printable ribbon and labels, which have a big mark up, and most customers fail to shop around for this, especially the big players like ITL who have money to waste. | ![]() thegameofmoney
08/11/2012 22:25 | no problem | boyinthebubble
08/11/2012 21:19 | Thanks for your input 'boyinthebubble'and Jungle Jim. | terenzio
08/11/2012 13:16 | Their predominant products are ink jet printers so consumables are mostly ink. For their continuous ink jet and large character printers the ink is made in-house so margin in humungous. | ![]() jungle jim

08/11/2012 11:22 | I have only recently come across Domino Printing and therefore now researching it to establish how well it measures up to my selection criteria. One question that I do not have an answer to is the detail of recurring income from consumables. Apparently 60% of their revenues are now from their aftermarket activity but since the laser printing process presumably does not use ink (a good source of revenue for printer companies), what exactly is this revenue made up of? If anyone knows the answer to this would appreciate your comment. Thanks. | terenzio

13/5/2012 10:00 | When Ten = $74.25m Domino Investment Proves To Be Good Egg A year ago Domino Printing Sciences at Bar Hill invested $50m in TEN Media, a business in California set up to push ahead with improved food safety monitoring in the egg industry. Now Domino has announced that Omron, a key supplier to the project, has joined the party, taking a minority stake in TEN, which is now worth half a billion dollars. Omron's investment dilutes Domino's holding, but it's still worth $74.25m. The word "delighted" appears in Domino managing director Nigel Bond's comment. P.S. Here's a couple of links about SCLP, one of the hottest stocks at the moment: | ![]() northernlass
13/5/2012 09:59 | Domino Printing Wins Queen's Award LONDON (SHARECAST) - Printing technology group Domino Printing Sciences has been awarded the Queen's Award for Continuous Achievement in International Trade, in recognition of its long record of exports growth. "Over 95% of our revenue is generated outside the UK," noted Nigel Bond, Group Managing Director of the firm which specialises in providing printers that do the add-on small print (such as "Best Before" dates) on commercial products. Bond said the firm's unbroken 33 year record of annual revenue growth was due in part to its continued investment in research & development. "Receiving one of the most famous globally recognised prestigious awards for our international trade performance is the ultimate testimony of our continued progress as a business," claimed Bond. | ![]() northernlass |
