03/3/2022 11:38 | don't worry i can hardly see this remaining down for long - i think at this point DEC is a strategic holding with assets located in the USA! | ![]() farrugia
03/3/2022 09:36 | No not up to now and I panicked a bit first thing this morning and bought mine back at prices between 113-114p. Having sold at 118p though my dividend did get just under a 60% boost and I have the money already, so I shouldn't feel too bad. | ![]() gary1966
03/3/2022 09:31 | down on ex-dividend - but really!? | ![]() farrugia
02/3/2022 16:39 | Ive tried it both ways and tbh its just the luck of the draw which way works best. Bit like red and black or odd or even. I just stay in for the safe money and after the ex div downward movement it usually recovers to where it closes the day before ex div anyway ie what it is today. good luck if any of you trade it better tomorrow after selling by today | ![]() sunbed44
02/3/2022 16:22 | Hopefully it will act as it normally does on XD day for us WJ. | ![]() gary1966
02/3/2022 14:20 | managed to get out at 118 lets see where this goes over the next few days... i usually stay in for the Divi, lets see if this tack is more rewarding... WJ. | w1ndjammer
02/3/2022 14:02 | It will still be pretty small overall but the Tapstone acquisition indicated 17% oil output and 21% NGLs. | ![]() aleman

28/2/2022 21:43 | WJ - payments are quarterly on the nose, but announcements are less 'precise'- the last one was four months ago. Not long to wait 'til the next then. 28 October 2021 Third Quarter Dividend Announcement Diversified Energy Company PLC (LSE: DEC) is pleased to announce that the Board has declared an interim dividend of 4.25 cents per share in respect of 3Q21 for the three month period ended 30 September 2021, a 13% increase over 3Q20 (3.75 cents) and a 6% increase over 2Q21 (4.00 cents). Key dates related to the 3Q21 dividend include: Ex-dividend Date: 3 March 2022 Record Date: 4 March 2022 Payment Date: 28 March 2022 | ![]() spin doctor
28/2/2022 11:58 | This Thursday, and because of this, short term technicals being overbought, and DEC's history of having a good run a few days prior to XD day and then falling more than the divi on the day, I chanced selling at 118p this morning. | ![]() gary1966
28/2/2022 11:39 | Does anyone know the the Ex date of the next divi last year was 4th March, i may have missed the RNS tia WJ. | w1ndjammer
28/2/2022 11:37 | Germany to push ahead with two LNG terminals to reduce Russian gas dependence: hxxps://www.spglobal I expect similar pivots from other EU states over near/medium term given events in Ukraine. I expect the US to continue expanding its gas export capacity (as it has done over the last decade) so as to act as a stable supplier to the world LNG market. Highly positive for DEC in my view. | ![]() asp5
25/2/2022 07:39 | For the $365M ABS Note: 2022 to 2026 natural gas swaps sold at a weighted average price of $3.34/MMBtu 2027 and 2028 natural gas puts purchased at a strike (floor) price of $3.00/MMBtu 2022 to 2025 NGL swaps sold at a weighted average price of $37.82/bbl For the $160M ABS Note: Long dated natural gas swaps at a weighted average price of $3.36/MMBtu (assume 2022 to 2026 given similar price levels to above) Long dated NGL swaps at a weighted average price of $33.34/bbl By end of 2026 ~$325M of the debt from these 2 ABS notes (Total $525M) should be repaid (~62%). Merging this with info provided in the trading update, it looks like DEC is in a very strong position re debt repayment. | ![]() asp5
24/2/2022 20:47 | Surely this will become more popular after today. Natural gas an increasingly used resource will be much scarcer if the Russian pipeline closes. DEC operate in a safe area and whilst they don't sell directly to Europe world prices will still rise. Together with that the dollar rose strongly and our dividends just rose about 1.5% as a consequence. | ![]() lab305

24/2/2022 16:38 | No not shabby but hard to determine next few years % now hedged and at what price overall. | ![]() gary1966
24/2/2022 16:12 | Gary, I think a lot of info is already in the public domain. Looks like ~92% of debt (~$990M)is now in amortizing securitized structures with cashflows hedged to pay of ~65% of this debt over next 5 years. Not so shabby. | ![]() asp5
24/2/2022 15:45 | DEC holding up really well today and remember 90% of this years production is hedged and they have been hedging more further out as a consequence of the securitised loan notes. An updated hedging position is what I am eagerly awaiting. | ![]() gary1966
24/2/2022 15:43 | Fat finger - DEC down by 2% | ![]() mondex
24/2/2022 15:42 | The market never ceases to amaze. Gas prices up by >5% yet DEC down by approx 4%. | ![]() mondex
24/2/2022 12:02 | forgot to add. Each accretive acquisition brings in new assets that can be setup in an ABS creating liquidity for next transaction(s). Given the amortizing setup this also allows the 2.2x debt to adjusted EBITDA to be sustainably maintained over time. With elevated gas prices likely to persist longer than many expect - I think DEC could be well positioned for the months ahead. | ![]() asp5
24/2/2022 11:24 | Hi Gary I agree re prudently run company. However I believe that Rusty and board have now fully pivoted from an equity raise to an ABS based approach to raising liquidity for purchases. I believe acquisitions opportunities are at the heart of this .... news flow over coming months should confirm this (or not as the case may be). | ![]() asp5 |
