Good stuff.

Setting up and maintaining these threads can be a time-consuming, thankless task so well done with that - and with your patience. Have a good weekend.

Bluemango, I put all the links into a scrolling window to reduce the header size after Nelly's initial post, but no acknowledgement from Nelly of course. The videos I reduced to three some time ago.

Yes next week should be interesting PB, and the one after that even more so.

So a bear/bull case battle next week. The company buying back will support the price, but will this and buyers coming in for the dividend be enough ammo to beat the shorts that are being added to?

Coupled with (hopefully) a bottom in gas prices and it will be a very interesting play next week! Worth staying nimble.

have a good weekend all!

bountyhunter, have you already removed some stuff? Were there more than 3 videos before? There is actually a point to having less to scroll through each time, I guess there's a balance to be struck.

And Neilyb675, you might get a better response with a 'please'? Just a thought.

So the short sellers - both hedge fund and individuals - continue to place their heavy clamp and maniplate + rig the share price here. Trades are being recorded and noted, ready for submission to the FCA.

increased my stake on the turnaround in Natural Gas prices - off the bottom of their lowest price (real terms) in history. It may be a false dawn of course, but if not we could have a perfect storm here: XD approaching which could be a decent buy back, short positions that will need to close at some stage and a huge yield (even if the div is cut by half. Some powder kept dry if my timing is off.

I wonder how many more the pack has loitering just below 0.5%.

If the draft Statutory Instrument for 'The Short Selling Regulations 2024' is passed into law, the FCA will be obligated to issue a daily update of aggregate net short positions to include all short positions above 0.2%.
That should give a far more accurate picture of the true short position.
