14/2/2024 15:59 | Bet today no buyback - share price drops back under £9 even NYSE under $11.40 even with 87.5c qtr div . - shorters are making ton of money from this and loving every minute of it at the expense of greedy and gambling investors | stevensupertrader
14/2/2024 14:08 | its not just you that has cash held back for ex divi day kaos | elpirata
14/2/2024 14:03 | just bought again to bring my average well below 1000 p. love it next and final attack probably coming after xd. will have further cash ready by then | kaos3
14/2/2024 10:32 | Volume seems to have dried up. | this_is_me
14/2/2024 10:31 | Bit of a holding pattern atm on DEC. Where's Cassini? Show yourself! | bulltradept
14/2/2024 08:56 | Good idea fordtin. That would be perfect timing to get the maximum bang for their buck. | bountyhunter
14/2/2024 08:40 | Well of course ford - but that's a reflection of share price - not short interest. | nigelpm
14/2/2024 08:34 | Agreed you got to have a strategy, try playing a game of tennis without one. | imnotspartacus
14/2/2024 08:31 | Why not? If shortsellers present them with a share price which makes buybacks a better use of capital than acquisitions, I hope management respond accordingly. | fordtin
14/2/2024 08:28 | Their capital allocation should NOT be influenced by short interest. | nigelpm
14/2/2024 08:26 | If DEC really want to fight back against shorts, buying back heavily on xd day would probably be optimal. Shortsellers are probably expecting the share price to fall by at least the dividend amount. The share price closing up on xd day should be painful for shortsellers after they've had to pay the dividend on the borrowed shares. | fordtin
14/2/2024 08:16 | Rusty buying up all the shorters shares and more, come on! | imnotspartacus
14/2/2024 08:00 | The 14th is today? Don’t forget or she won’t be pleased ❤️ | imnotspartacus
14/2/2024 07:56 | Exactly, and the way this is going small and consistent rises even when the wider market is falling will soon as up. Only 9 business days now until XD 87.5c. | bountyhunter
14/2/2024 07:46 | 61000 last 2 days. Some say small and consistent BBs. I say random and unpredictable and of varying sizes . Will keep shorters on their toes | leoneobull
14/2/2024 07:45 | Yesterday RNS didn’t report Buyback but today DEC did conducted two buybacks on the 13th and 14th Feb , however both buybacks didn’t move share price northwards much except maintaining share price from falling below £9 in LSE .No buyback no share price support ,one can see and even Board reakides this 😞 | stevensupertrader
14/2/2024 07:19 | Good to see the buybacks and increasing amounts… go Rusty! | imnotspartacus
14/2/2024 04:56 | I'm less interested in the US share price at mo, S it has been bobbing around this level for ages. But at least it closed neutral to firm in both LSE and NYSE whereas mkts tanked. | leoneobull
13/2/2024 22:48 | I guess the shorters just see the dividend as cash out of the business (which it is) and more problems down the line. | nigelpm
13/2/2024 21:23 | $11.74 close in New York, 932p equivalent | bountyhunter
13/2/2024 21:23 | Walleye added another 0.1% to their short the last day or two, circa 50k shares sold which at some point HAVE to be bought back. Paying 30% dividend and 10% loan fee. They are trying to manipulate the share down with low volume DMA trades, and no doubt trying to find a seller to place a big clearing trade at a lower price, however, its not working. Im happy they are adding, because they need to be brought back! £9.33 finish in the USA. | theprovosts
13/2/2024 19:20 | Into the blue in New York now, not much success there either for the shorters today, or recently. | bountyhunter
13/2/2024 19:07 | bh....."little over two weeks time," 10 trading day's, to be padantic, if they want to colse | kipper999
13/2/2024 18:56 | #remove youtube videos# | neilyb675
13/2/2024 18:46 | The shorters have not had any success over the last 3 weeks now with the price remaining flatish as we head towards the XD date of 29 February in just 19 trading days time, at which time their liabilities are set to increase by 87.5c/share. | bountyhunter |
