We will see. I think it will head higher pretty sharpish then the shorters will try to regain control but just my guess. It may depend on whether US investors take an interest in the arbitrage opportunity.

I imagine it'll open slightly up or close to where it closed in London - speculators in NY don't drive the price.

£10.30 equivalent close in New York.
£9.16 close in London.

Tomorrow morning should be interesting. New York is beginning to take control with the increasing volume.

What happens if Rusty cancels the LSE listing? Do we automatically get our shares transferred to the NYSE? Just thinking ahead re that possibility.

The rise in New York did seem to start after 5pm London time which is when appollo received the notification so presumably although delayed that seems to be the likely trigger for the rise.

I'm surprised that they could get away with leaving it that long to notify, seems worse than the delays on the LSE.

That all happened on the 31st Dec 23 - certainly possibly the news of it caused the flurry - as expected though speculative stuff and drops towards close.

Useful to have for the US listing.

If you capitalise the leading H of the https of a link it doesn't get changed. It gets round advfn's policy of only allowing paid accounts to post hyperlinks.

Maybe they just breached as Leoneobull says, but either way it shows they are increasing their holding and is positive. Let's hope for a short squeeze ASAP.

I'm not sure why advfn changed my hyperlink to hxxps, but I didn't paste it like that.

They sent out the notification at about 5pm UK time. You can sign up for them on DEC's investor relations page.

I read that as BlackRock have crossed the 5% reportable level and now hold 5.5%

That notification in New York may have triggered the buying?

NYSE volume close to the LSE volume today; NY is beginning to take control. Rusty must be tempted to delist in London, he wouldn't be the first.
