White123 - Are you a paidshorter, de-tamper by some broker or MM? Give it a rest, DEC are in a good position move on to your next unscrupulous short attack!

Is that the best you can do lol?!

So they met market expectations and are delivering a near 30% yield. Seems pretty good to me! Especially with all that hedging going forwards to secure future income.

Who needs a "WOW" factor with that near 30% yield. I'll settle for boring any day.

'There are better investment opps elsewhere'

Yep, just running down the lengthy list of stable, debt reducing, growing healthily 30%+ yielders then...'

Oops - there aren't any.

Net debt down 15% from $1550m to just under $1320m. They should highlight this more. I presume the reduction will be mostly the 18% of debt that was subject to variable interest rates so almost all debt is now fixed rate?

The recent update did not generate much excitement or significant impact. Considering the lackluster nature of this update, it's likely that investors who bet against the market (shorts) may consider another attempt to capitalise on the situation. The current price increase observed today is minimal, and historical trends indicate that such rises tend to lose momentum after a day or two.

As holders realise that the stock is unlikely to reach £20 or surpass that mark, they may decide to reallocate their funds, leading to a potential exodus from the stock. This could contribute to further declines in its value.

While there wasn't any overwhelmingly negative news, it's also true that there isn't anything particularly impressive or attention-grabbing (the "WOW" factor) in the recent developments. In my opinion, there are better investment opportunities available elsewhere.

We’re all sick of your ‘IMO’ so why not jog on if you’re not interested.

Hedging and Current Financial Derivatives Portfolio

Diversified ended 2023 with an annual average realized price of $3.48/Mcf, 27% higher than the average settled price for NYMEX Henry Hub during the year(i), demonstrating the benefit of the Company's hedging strategy in mitigating the impact of the commodity price environment during the year. Having proactively established its 2024 hedge portfolio with a weighted average floor price of ~10% higher ($3.09/MMBtu) than the current strip(j), Diversified continues to focus on layering additional hedges to 2025 and beyond, where forward natural gas prices remain strong.

Get ready to pay your margin calls and the dividend if you don't close before then!

Hardly set the world alight those results did they?
I guess that can be seen by the fact it isnt flying through £20 let alone £10

There are much better plays out there for better returns and IMO this is still ripe for shorters attack.

With the trading statement out of the way, they should be out of the closed period and free to resume unrestricted buybacks.

Assuming the dividend remains the same we can double our money in three years with dividend reinvestment.

No guidance on dividend going forward.

Shorters will have to cover the dividend in short term though - expensive!
