Shareholders in Uk are not allow to sell their shares in US market through their Uk brokers or US brokers due to cross border regulation that prohibit this.
However only the big hedge fund institutions are allowed as such this is to me day light robbery .
This is the main reason why Uk shares are mark down and down I’m recent days since US listing so the hedge funds pushed the price down so that they buy and sell in US .
The big hedge funds are laughing all the way to their banks and even DEC buybacks didn’t make any difference , in short., DEC is throwing the money into the sink hole . Very sad that Uk and Us regulators allowed this dirty manipulation 😞 😞

I was wondering the same thing. MM's playing tricks with the price to acquire shares to sell in NY? Maybe a contributing factor alongside the shorting antics.

I guess that's the case. Because new shares were not issued when DEC listed on the NYSE, US liquidity must have come through sellers on the LSE. I wonder if this accounts for some of the instability?

Another correction. 1.8m in London vs ~80k in New York - I should have gone to Specsavers!
I'm still unclear as to where the shares in New York come from - market makers who acquire them on the London market?

NYSE trades were just over 4% of LSE trades on friday?

Cheers Leon, I set this up to include the NYSE charts and keep track of the various links. I'm getting the volumes from the last two charts in the header.
On reviewing I can see that the volume in the last chart is LSE not NYSE. So another correction - see below.

Bounty. Thanks for your efforts to set up this alternative to the Pro bb. Where are you getting us trades being twice lse's yday? On advfn it continues to show very low nyse turnover.. .

Let me check -

Apologies, $1 = 79p!

So yes you are quite right 87.5c XD on 29/2 = 69p.

I stand corrected. So a 7.2 x 4 = 28.8% annual yield.

...as per the link to Dividends in the header.

A record high for the volume yesterday.

Shouldn't that be 69p, not 79p??

At the current price it's (79/958) * 100 = 8.2% X
Edit - Dr.R is correct as it's $1=79c so 87.5c=69p!

There's never been a discrepancy that great at the close.

LSE Friday close £9.58
NYSE Friday close £10.53 equivalent on high volume, 10% higher than the LSE close, the highest closing discrepancy to date.

That's quite funny, GreyGeorge the deramper/troll from the LSE DEC forum gets an oblique reference - as does Scrwal, though not quite sure why.

Interesting that he referred to me but I don't have a screw loose at all. I was pointing out that the interims are not audited which is a fact and to use capitals when referring to audited accounts is disingenuous. I never referenced anything to do with his figures and wasn't even arguing about them. I also only pointed out that they are subject to review and he still talks about qualified audit which isn't the same thing at all - no audit takes place. The interims may be reviewed at the year end but will not form part of the main audit.
In theory you can cheat the numbers in interim financial statements and if the manipulated figures reverse before the year end and the annual results look consistent then it may not be picked up.
Internal audits may have nothing to do with figures and could concentrate on systems.
He is clueless about what goes on with a statutory audit and plays free and easy with using the word audit - even his header of an audit isn't an audit shows a lack of knowledge.
Yes I get things wrong but if he wants to have a go then I suggest he reads what people post. My original post is 7309 on the DEC High Dividend Yield board.

Dec-a-spike over on the NYSE. How can the share price have been down 8% on LSE at one point to close UP 6.7% in the US? A 15% turnaround on no news....
