Regarding the dividend I'm sure that the shorters would love to see it cut otherwise they will need to pay it in little over a month's time.

What's the dividend yield here, then, 40% ? I thought this would have rebounded on Trumps recent commentry.

I agree fordtin.

In my earlier post, I wasn't advocating a cut, but simply saying greater clarity and assurance would be useful. Give a clear steer one way or the other. If it's stick with the current level, then get seriously aggressive with the buybacks because there's no easier way for them to preserve cash medium term.

Those of you who advocate a dividend reduction should look at the like of i3e and RGL to see what happens when companies destroy the confidence of long term holders by slashing dividends.
Both of those companies' share prices fell off a cliff immediately and the sell off continued until the dividend yield rose high enough to attract new punters.
It’s still unclear whether either have stabilised, or have further to fall.

The last two RNS “know of no reason” have had no effect, so why would another one?

An RNS is not needed every other day it's a waste of time and money

Make the most of it by topping up

Buybacks should go into overdrive for sure at these levels and I suspect they will

Need another "know of no reason" RNS - probably better off now kicking the buyback into operation than paying the dividend. Best acquisition they can make is their own business.

-> I agree with this line of thinking. They need to buy their own shares and keep a dividend not more than 15%. Otherwise this will sink after the dividend is paid. Reduce aggressively the number of shares in circulation and absorb any sellers.

Algo bots / shorts bear raid, an aggressive force, we were a sitting duck after a 20:1 consolidation and the senators combined assault, a difficult hold but no TR1 reported so no II of size is selling down..

Buying the 30% dividend back does make a lot of sense to reduce the payout, but we cannot have it both ways, a difficult balance to strike..

We've seen this kind of action so many times before across many shares, where they take it down on low volume

It paralyses people ... I am adding on every big dip

SP is dropping on lower and lower vol.
Aĺl days recently buys outnumbering sells.

Sp without vol is not meaningful in terms of the real deep market setting perceived value

Most market participants are just observing lately.

So many 1 shares traded clearly indicates bot attack. Meaning it is games wich are irrelevant to the operational reality and fundamental value

John hemming can you please.explain depltion rate to a slovenian gardener eg in simple terms

The company says 50 years of production profile remaining on average. Mostly linear decrease i would think. With some rest to gain pressure in between.

You say 10 %

In my mind i can not fit those 2

DEC in copulation - every time one looks at the share price , is marked lower - nothing DEC directors or the board can do . Shorters are laughing to their banks
