The NYSE/LSE FX adjusted prices will synchronise over time, the trend reversal is what we need to see and the dividend is fantastic at these prices..

Interesting downtrend pattern with rising volume makes me wonder if the (spurious?) legal musings are coincident with shorts closing? Regardless of that, it shows the levels that likely need to be broken to see these take off again - or not, as might be the case.

On edit - unfortunately the above is not picking up today's movement.

US listing continues to soar.
The rogue London Market controlled by short sellers continues to underprice the stock.

1k: GCL is an interesting one especially re this potential benefit - #2670 onwards:

Dyor and nai. Seems to good to be true so it probably is and factored in but maybe not entirely.

Thanks bountyhunter. I really must get down to some serious research. 'Uranium' is a term which covers quite a number aspects of the business, with different plants requiring different grades of enrichment. I need to know more about the enrichment opportunities, and where the best profits are.

Well at least the average down will be even better with the dividend

It won't do my y/e portfolio figures any harm when the dividend is paid. No further top up in DEC for me though, as my portfolio weighting there is already a shade higher than it should be.

Uranium has been my energy winner this year, though via capital gains rather than income. A pull back there would be welcome as I see uranium as a strong bet for years to come and would like to increase my positions (Cameco and Yellowcake). Does anyone have any other uranium plays on his watchlist?

#23 I forgot to mention the high interest rates (only recently looking like they've peaked) which have been yet another negative factor affecting market perception over the last year, given the company's debt levels.

All of the above have weighed on sentiment, the sheep have all moved to one end of the field and the yield is ridiculously high. At some point imo the political shenanigans targetting this company will be rebutted or just quietly go away, energy prices will start ascending again and the sheep will start to move back towards the other side of the field, with the dividend still at the same amount.

This has been covered on other threads and recent broker notes etc.

Yes normally a high yield would be a red flag. In this case, we have a combination of weaker energy prices, the O&G sector being deeply, deeply unfashionable, outflows from funds holding income stocks, and a recent shorting campaign on the back of (or helped along by) a left-led publicity campaign to discredit the company. Throw in some general lack of understanding of how DEC operates more like a private equity finance company with its hard to understand hedging policy, and it's easy to see how the shares have been sold down, thus increasing the yield to the levels you have highlighted.

Dyor, and it becomes easier to see how the situation arose and how the dividend can indeed be sustainable.

Well at least it was a rise in NY on the pre-market price and up on the LSE, still 3.5 hrs left in NY.

...yes just seen that 2w, light volume so far in NY but I'll be keeping an eye out for the closing price at 9pm GMT.
