It's not helping the share price though, this has turned into my worst investment in 2023, down over 30% from when I initially bought at 91p. The collapse in the share price is worrying so I've reduced my exposure.

Spot gas prices now well under our hedges, shows the volatility recently, USD3.5 a unit quickly reversed to 2.25, hedging is the only way to protect your cashflows..Now how is that NYSE listing coming along..?

Actually, the company traded OTC with the ticker DECPF for years. The ticker DECPD only appeared earlier this month.

The company has traded on the OTC market for years using ticker DECPD. The NYSE listing is entirely separate and an application has been made for this using the 20-F form. As far as I can see, the DEC ticker does not yet exist on the NYSE (according to the NYSE Listings Directory). Diversified has applied to use the DEC ticker on the NYSE on the 20-F form. Hopefully, this will be dealt with speedily.

It may be on ADVFN but the form 20-F has not been approved by the SEC so it can't trade on the NYSE only in the grey market

Fwiw, this is from LSE today and contradicts the above.

"I emailed Doug Kris at the company about the listing in NY and just got this reply:

'We anticipate trading to commence in the next week or so. Unfortunately, Government entities tend to work at a snails pace, especially around the holidays. The symbol on the NYSE will be “DEC”.

My own view is that the company would not be so amateurish as to only have a OTC listing. So it probably just requires a little more patience to see a main NSYE listing under the ticker DEC.

I am writing to you as I have now received a response to the eligibility check which I sent through on Friday, 8 December 2023 regarding the Diversified Energy stock which was listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on 11 December 2023, our dealing control team have checked the stock now it is listed and although the stock is listed on the NYSE it is in fact listed on the over-the-counter (OTC) index, which unfortunately we do not trade on, and we will therefore not be able to offer this stock through our service, and we will be keeping the UK listed version which you already hold.

Please accept my apologies for any disappointment this may cause.

Why is the NYSE ticker on the 20-F wrong? DECPD is used on the OTC market. DEC has not been taken by any other stock issuer.

The 20-F isn't approved because the NYSE listing ticker is wrong. The company seems to have made a mistake quoting DEC

What they should have been using is DECPD, the existing OTC ticker

Anyone can sell whatever on OTC it is a "grey" market - it doesn't even need the company to agree to be listed.

The ticker for the main listing is

NYSE:DEC

Trading starts when the 20-F is approved whatever that may mean
I see no timeline and it isn't in the calendar for a trading start

As fortin said in an earlier post, DECPD is for the OTC market. Nothing to do with the NYSE.

but
what i learned .... after several observations... listing in US ....

price drops ... so their II fill ... so it takes lots of time down there ... and then it starts creeping up

i bought at 1300 recently ... but now i will wait for the creeping up to start and i do not see it soon
