The Mystery Downticker of Old London Town is busy today.

It reminds me of a film with Jim Carrey in it. He would focus on someone he didn't like, some distance away so they didn't notice him, bracketing their head between his thumb and forefinger, then he'd bring them together as if he were squishing their head.

He derived great pleasure from vanquishing his foes thusly...

All these accusations are the same as old. I imagine that DEC has had time to prepare and buttress its emissions defences and plugging management.

Bought a few at 1101p.

In balls deep already so not going to splurge out here and in any case, there's probably more pain to come.

Anyone remember Games Shop and the Reddit inspired fight back from small PI's that turned the tables on the shorters?? Well, this is precisely what is happening here, the difference being, the remarkable and extrenmely sinsister timing of the increase in shorts, just at the time an old enquiry is re-issued and the stock lists on the NYSE.

Well, I am putting my money where my mouth is and have opened up X2 (so far) long positions this morning and if anyone else agrees, every little will eventually help! For those in doubt, this is very much worth a read from Oak today (robbery being an understatement IMP)...............

I see this as a rerun of the scurrilous, unsubstantiated Bloomberg campaign of October 2021 which was eventually discredited. I see the same result this time. I think the Oakbloke has got it right.

I don't like the sound of this at all.
This is an opportunity for the democrat politicos to polish their green credentials while US oil and gas companies ramp up production as never before.
I think back to BPs travails. BP was told 'just pay', and ended up paying out on completely specioous and even fraudulent claims. When the political wind blows against a UK company, even the US courts set full sail to be blown along by it.
Trump is not the only one whose mantra is 'American [business] first'.

I had a modest limit order to buy at 1190 in, just in case the new listing threw up brief anomalous pice dips. It was just a very speculative trading play, just an outside chance for a quick trading profit of a few percent. I logged in here this morning and got the tip off in time to pull it within a few pence of it triggering. Many thanks to those with their eyes open on this board. You saved me getting my fingers burned.

Now we just have to wait for the dust to settle, but I regret to say I don't expect an early conclusion finding that DEC is pure as the driven snow.

DEC have team who close out wells and seal them they even rent the team out at a nice profit. There is no issue with them paying for the closure of wells.

Surely the environment is worse off without the service of this company. Who would take better care of those tens of thousands of out of normal service gas and oil wells?
