29/6/2023 11:41 | For around the last 10yrs Don Goulding has personally owned 10 million shares in Distil Plc. DG/DIS has ''successfully created'' the RedLeg brand. DG has total emoluments in the region of £200k, which is very modest compared to peer group. Other directors receive very significantly less. Nowhere near enough to support a ''lifestyle''. DIS has cash in the bank and no debt. We are now inextricably linked to Ardgowan. We put in several £millions of DIS money. We share one important Director, who also owns the Distillery. One of our non execs is also the Distillery Chairman. We have moved much of our spirits production to Scotland. We are about to see a scotch added to our product range. We have a brave new distribution policy. After enormous company change during the last few years it will be very interesting to see how this complex new structure plays out. I am as frustrated as any holder, but optimistic that better times are ahead. Best of luck. pete | petersinthemarket
28/6/2023 09:45 | In Dec 21, just 17 months ago, Ronald Grain increased his stake by exercising 21.7 million warrants at 2p. I must confess that this created some confidence and hope in my mind. Communication from this company currently very poor indeed. hxxps://www.mornings | tommyjnewton
27/6/2023 21:12 | Agreed. The archetypal 'lifestyle' company for the directors. Will in all likelihood go private when the distillery is completed imo. ttbomk Don Goulding has never purchased a share. After 20 years, DIS (formally BES, formally BBV) never once successfully created and sold a brand....but have made a number of errors along the way. Poor. | chenghua

27/6/2023 18:22 | We more or less know what to expect in the finals, but for the last 2yrs we have had Q1/TU's on 11/12 July, so more up to date news due very soon. pete | petersinthemarket

10/6/2023 09:54 | If anyone is interested to see how the Ardgowan distillery, with which Distil is attached, is progressing, there is a very good write up (2may2023) in the Greenock Telegraph with a video of Roland Grain giving his view. In this piece at least, we can see what one of our directors is doing with his time. | petersinthemarket
10/6/2023 09:53 | I understand your point of view Sceptical... but last time I looked Dis had no debts and a lot of cash in the bank. | petersinthemarket
08/6/2023 11:07 | Finals should be published next week. We may get some facts on last years botched distributorship changes. Basic RedLeg supplies at my local Tesco Extra are still patchy. I have taken to getting my RedLeg from Amazon. There is always plenty of Pineapple on the shelf, but it doesn't seem popular here. It would be great to see some good news, but I'm not holding my breath. We need to know how the move to Scotland is going and something about new products. I suppose we have to get all the bad stuff out of the way first. Hopefully, it will then be time to move on - at last. pete | petersinthemarket
31/5/2023 16:14 | Because its a highly indebted bargepole? | scepticalinvestor

20/4/2023 23:47 | long time watcher of this share. At present mkt cap I just don't understand why DGE or any other big drinks co hasn't snapped up Distil for Redleg original. It is a reasonably successful brand just look at Amazon has 5,000 plus reviews and a decent rating. Plus no debt. What are our fixed assets? | purplepelmets
19/4/2023 11:36 | You may be right Tommy. It sounds to me like either a lack of product availability, or a glitch in distribution. I certainly believe RedLeg is well liked here. In my nearest Tesco Extra (SW Wales) it flies off the shelf very quickly. Prior to January, I had been having to buy mine from Amazon, due to the supply disruption. There were weeks without stock and the shelf space had been usurped by Captain Morgan (that fake Rum). Tesco stock has become a lot more reliable since January and RedLeg has it's old shelf space back. On Monday, there were only two bottles of RedLeg left, posted as £16 each with a Tesco card. At that price, I took them both. As usual, there was a near full complement of the Pineapple version, which has never gone ex stock during the last eight months. It doesn't seem popular here. There is no recent sign of the Franklin/RedLeg cans. | petersinthemarket
19/4/2023 11:05 | My local Tesco sells out of Redleg as soon as there is a special offer of £16. This has happened yet again this week. There doesn't seem to be much anticipation of demand. Is this a common problem? | tommyjnewton
14/4/2023 10:48 | Same situation as you Pope. It seems to me that the £500,000 TV advertising campaign was money down the drain. I was also surprised to see in my local Lidl that Franklin, our best mates from a few years back, have teamed up with Captain Morgan for sale of miniatures. That said, the current market cap of around £3m isn't much, and it wouldn't take a lot of good news to turn this around. All IMO of course. | bigboyblue
