No directa cannot make repeated same quality graphene in commercially viable quantities. Check the verified companies on the graphene council verified producer page.

They could invent anti-gravity paint and The London Stock Market wouldn't care.

I am afraid that the last RNS continues this company's approach of talking up future prospects and then subsequently failing to deliver the revenue and profitability.

I was an investor so keep a watching brief ... but will remain on the sidelines until I see this approach change.

Please add "over hyped" over promised and cavet epmtor to the headlines of both VRS and DCTA. Comment also appropriate of over 100 plus AIM super reokets now falling back to earth.

Anyone reading the paid for, puff piece on Versarien in the post above who is not familiar with the company should spend a bit of time reading some of the discussion on the VRS threads.
Unlike DCTA, VRS has never delivered on its promises and has (along with a couple of other disasters) given graphene a bad name in the UK quoted arena.
VRS has a bizarre (and vocal) cult following that appears happy to overlook every failure of management and the complete lack of delivery of commercial orders despite years of collaborations and 'partnerships'. It is clear that there are a lot of very naïve and inexperienced private investors holding shares in the company and happy to 'top up' and 'average down' at every opportunity. The old adage about catching a falling knife was never more appropriate!
VRS also appears to require additional funding imminently or it will be in danger of failing the going concern test at audit.

This is not just a warning about 2022. The comment about returning to 25% growth in 2023 was well short of what had previously been expected and Cenkos have significantly downgraded forecasts for 2023 and 2024.
I think there is an element of rebasing forecasts to a more realistic level, and they almost certainly make no allowance for a big contract landing, which you would expect at some point, so they are now beatable

but what's the bullish case here? this company never seems to have ever made a profit. Do the products actually use graphene as a material?

Poorly structured statement with the negatives and difficulties up front and the positives buried beneath.

Lost the declining 50dsma today. Getting ever closer to want to close the gap at 76p.

In the graphene application world I see any RNS about a commercial deal as significant, but DCTA's today as particularly so. A Latin American base but worldwide distribution for a notable application field.

I see that their UK distribution base is in Hereford.

€1M = €4,000 per Km

That doesn't seem too bad for providing a small part of the materials required for the road.

How many thousands of Km are replaced each year across Europe?

re the new road contract. Cenkos have it as being a 125km section the 250km refers to both sides of the road being done apparently and the contract is worth €1M over the 18 months of said contract to DCTA.

This is an astounding RNS, not just for the company but the World.

This sets a new standard in roadbuilding, the figures are extraordinary and I genuinely we believe we are witnessing the start of a new era, 240km now....

lol but agreed. Still sounds a decent start for gipave though about time they started getting a few contracts under their belt.

Great news this morning, but let's hope they earn more than £100,000 on this contract and get the needle moving on earnings
