16/9/2004 11:44 | Glad to see others are in- if only we had something to talk about! Exce-pt the share pirce rising.. | silverfern
15/9/2004 10:57 | No idea but someone has just paid up £200+K for the stock which is quite a heavy trade ..... happy to hold this one, wish I'd bought more a few years back at £3. I guess they are just an illiquid stock. | quantumx
15/9/2004 09:34 | Nice rise this morning. Must be some reason as not usually a stock that moves quickly. Any ideas? | bcf200
25/8/2004 18:51 | still undervalued so still worth buying! | silverfern
10/5/2004 16:03 | I like the results, and nice to see a price rise comin on such a horrible day for the markets. A hunch tells me it will be marked down tomorrow or in the next few days, in line with market falls. FWIW, I'll try to add to my holdings on any weakness. | shuisky
10/5/2004 08:58 | good results | cambium
10/5/2004 08:33 | NO need to ramp - good results today | silverfern
07/5/2004 11:14 | This thread has gone very quiet (which is a good sign of a lack of ramp in the price imo) Results Monday. CR | cockneyrebel
26/4/2004 20:37 | Sorry to interrupt the party - I haven't brought any booze - but I have bought some shares. And well done to all those who've already benefitted from the climb over the 18 months - this looks a good investment even now to me. I am attracted also that the entire BB thread on this share can be read in three minutes and is rant-free. | silverfern
30/3/2004 15:15 | Hi quantumx. The consensus forecast EPS growth rate for DPLM is 16.35% That's too cheap for a stock trading on 500/32.23=15.5 times 2003 Earnings. The balance sheet is extremely solid, yield significant, strongly cash generative, it's end markets 'niche' enough to protect it in any slowdown but yet also expose dplm to the cyclical upturn. What more do investors want? | shuisky
29/3/2004 13:45 | My god! Another follower! Steady as she goes, hopefully EPS and dividends will be maintained..... | quantumx
16/2/2004 15:24 | You are not alone! | shuisky
13/2/2004 13:35 | Seems appropriate to update this thread. Not widely followed but a real performer in the last three years compared to the FTSE! | quantumx
26/2/2003 10:38 | This share seems to have performed well in the current markets. Will it continue though? | quantumx
13/12/2002 01:52 | After-hours announcement from Morley Fund Management (part of Aviva) regarding yesterday's share disposal is the third such in the past 3 weeks.. "..sales totalling 208,384 on 11 December 2002.." "..sales totalling 200,000 on 2 December 2002.." "..sales totalling 244,000 on 21 November 2002.." They still hold quite a chunk, but this is a fairly sizeable reduction going on. Morley, and Eaglet, appear to have been reducing their holdings throughout previous months too, albeit at a slower rate then. Anyone see it as significant? Edit Feb 2004: Well it maybe was significant - but in the opposite direction from my suspicions; Share price immediately set off on a one-year 70% climb! Edit March 2005: Up fivefold in six years. One year chart: 5 year and 3 month charts above. Five day and one day below. Company has been around since 1931. Totally repositioned itself during 1998-2001. See and . Company website | m.t.glass |
