04/4/2007 19:21 | Sorry, what drop was that? : ) That 800p , that REALLY was the bottom This does look like a rather obvious chart to anyone with sight. But if it breaks our of the top-line over the last two years (say, at 950p-ish) then who knows where this could go. Every results day this looks undervalued, but the 'outlook' is always cautious and that's all the City sees. Check the 5-yr trend though! | silverfern
02/4/2007 13:00 | I wonder what prompted the sudden drop this morning? News? Weekend paper comment? | quantumx
30/3/2007 12:12 | I thinkwe can say that 800p was the bottom. THe price can vary considerably during the day but the trend up seems re-established - good value still imho | silverfern
15/3/2007 12:43 | Hi silverfern - could be the bottom, 8 quid seems to be holding. I am looking to get back in. bought some DLTA first thing, results look very good. best of luck with DPLM, I am puzzled with price fall considering big fund manager buying. Guess it could be worries wtih their north america exposure? | wipo1
15/3/2007 11:22 | topped up this morning - I'm not a chartist but looking at the troughs over the last two years this is either the bottom or ...not | silverfern
13/3/2007 17:26 | I hope so too - I bought in at the top and will add on any indication of a recovery | silverfern
13/3/2007 11:18 | The Trading Update issued on 10/1/07 was reasonably upbeat - with the obvious caveats about US economy and £/$ exchange rates - so it would be hard to understand what had changed fundamentally in the few weeks since then. A little flurry of sells around the time of this morning's fall, but volume almost immaterial. I think it's just one of those shares with little liquidity that exaggerates price movements when there is any buying/selling activity. (At least I hope so!) Regards, Ian | jeffian
13/3/2007 10:42 | Strange price moving down on no news, I here of lots of pay offs in industry in north america, I wonder if there is a whisper of bad news there? DPLM looks very cheap now I am looking to get back in after taking profits at 870p. | wipo1
09/3/2007 00:20 | WHy would you expect that? Although it moves around a bit, over time the share price has only gone up/reflected performance. | silverfern
13/2/2007 16:33 | Stake Building by Barclays (they have doubled their holding in 2 months)- I'd expect this one to go private by June 2007. Cheap even now at £9.00 qx | quantumx
13/2/2007 16:32 | Stake Building by Barclays (they have doubled their holding in 2 months)- I'd expect this one to go private by June 2007. Cheap even now at £9.00 qx | quantumx
08/2/2007 16:20 | The price moves about a bit but overall there's only one trend with this company! | silverfern
06/2/2007 17:48 | hi everyone be aware if you ever decide to terminate advfn subscription (my story) i rang them few days ago to cancell it/they said send a e-mail/well i sent an e-mail, they reply to the e-mail saying write a letter/ ok i wrote a letter/ according to them they did not received my letter, telling me i should have recorded it/ the person on the advfn phone was very rude and had no respect for the subscriber at all besides he did not give me his full name, 6 times i rang and he simply put the phone down on me/ all i asked them to do is cancell the subcription/ for few dollars more/they lost a potential subscriber & a advfn shareholder for good/ what a administration who does not care a bit about the inconvenient they are putting through their loyal customer. | smalikhafsah
18/1/2007 11:38 | Barclays now hold 13% of the company | silverfern
10/1/2007 08:11 | I bought again this morning on that statementl I doubt it will trigger a share price falL! | silverfern
05/1/2007 12:45 | Nice to see it remaining so firm and achieving new highs in the run-up to AGM statement on 10/1. Regards, Ian | jeffian
29/12/2006 16:35 | Assuming it follows the pattern of previous years, there will probably be a trading update at the AGM (also via RNS) which is on 10 Jan this year. Regards, Ian | jeffian
22/12/2006 12:59 | I closed out my longs today. will buy back on the next pullback | powerbook
21/12/2006 12:50 | I missed the bottom and this looks well recoved now. Will buy on any weakness | silverfern
18/12/2006 16:01 | Barclays now got 10% now! They must think its cheap. I have bought a few today. | wipo1
04/12/2006 23:10 | Barclays upped to 6.4% today from 5.3% of the company a month ago | silverfern
30/11/2006 16:31 | I have stop policy so got out well ahead a while back (as I've done a number of times with Diploma). I suppose the chart suggests a test at 760p and assuming it holds around there or above I will reinvest in the New year. Diploma talk about tough conditions and tight margins EVERY time they report yet constantly beat their own expectations and the 5 year chart shows that the overall picture is up. THey are due an acquisition soon and they certainly have the money for it. | silverfern
14/11/2006 10:11 | As I said in post 54, the fundamentals are right. In time I think yesterday's price reaction will be seen as a 'buying opportunity'. Regards, Ian | jeffian
13/11/2006 19:16 | After investing a total of #8.0m in the acquisition of HKX and in payments of deferred consideration, the Group's cash funds increased by #11.0m during the year to #36.7m at 30 September 2006. | silverfern
13/11/2006 15:52 | Lucky I refrained from purchasing last week! S. | sahara |
