16/2/2006 17:13 | Looking like an imminent breakout... | tole
07/2/2006 19:19 | I see F&C Asset Management notified Diploma of an 8.39% holding: This appears to be new - I don't see any previous notification from them in the last ~2 yrs (May check back further if I get the time). | topstar
01/2/2006 20:04 | I'm not a chartists, meaning I don't buy on chart info, but I like the look of the last three bottoms! | silverfern
11/1/2006 09:47 | good statement today - another £11m in the bank from land sale; let me repewat that - £11m! this goes with..."Free cash flow of #11.9m; prior year free cash flow of #9.6m benefited from sale of Phase 2 of the Stamford land. Cash funds at 30 September 2005 were #25.7m." So this compnay will have £36m + by end of February to play with. The statemen repeats the final reulsts advice about trading so no worries there. They always say Europe is tough! I would expect the profit taking to have finshed and this to plough on and up over the next two months | silverfern
22/12/2005 17:06 | Well I like to see CR on any thread but this was a masterful feat. PLEase call again! | silverfern

16/12/2005 17:09 | Excellent rise following tip from Inv Chronicle. Hopefully big boys will recognise potential now. | bcf203
13/12/2005 20:31 | Can;t keep out so back in - the faffing about between 650 and 750p will end in a rise above these levels imho and so I wil now keep the faith for a year and add if it rises, and curse if it falls. BUt at least I won';t be shelling out £12.50 to Squaregain | silverfern
08/12/2005 09:49 | today's shares mag :- "Following the publication of its annual report, three directors of Diploma (DPLM) bought shares. The trio included the chairman, the chief executive and the chief operating officer. Diploma is a specialist distribution company operating in niche markets such as life sciences, seals and controls. Last year the group's earnings were more than 10% above the house broker's initial estimate." | mdrans1
01/12/2005 14:56 | Looks like this might be heading back to 660 -665p..........reall | maximoney1
01/12/2005 10:02 | silverfern - only just seen your comment - I wasn't making a prediction, just making an ironic remark. So often good results are accompanied by share price falls, and vice versa. I see it had a great spike but is now back to where it was. A nimble trader could have made a quick profit there... | samg99
22/11/2005 19:14 | NOw Sam, what were you sayng about the SP? | silverfern
14/11/2005 20:45 | well when I bought this last lot on Squaregain the buy/sell was much tighter when it came down to the transaction (rather than the spread) | silverfern
14/11/2005 08:05 | great set of results - increased dividend and strong trading in the US. | silverfern
10/11/2005 20:03 | well, this is going ok again! | silverfern
26/10/2005 10:51 | THanks for the comfort - I tell you, the market at the moment is beyond me! If I was sensible I'd look at my portfolio at the end of November. What really freks me out is your suggestion that kids are on-line buying and selling stocks for their half-term project: ) | silverfern
25/10/2005 21:57 | 28.09.2005 "Diploma PLC said it anticipates results for the full year ending Sept 30 which will both demonstrate further progress in 2005 and be slightly ahead of market expectations." What's new? The volume was quite low which suggests a blip rather than anything more significant. It is half term. | mdrans1
25/10/2005 17:07 | ANd what a news leak the current fall suggests - thanks to the management for leaking what wil no doubt be bad news tomorrow | silverfern |
