DBOX tipped for 2023 by Andrew Hore, editor of the AIM Journal

Digitalbox is forecast to make pre-tax profit of £1.2m this year rising to a pre-tax profit forecast of £1.5m in 2023, an estimate that predates the Poke acquisition. “Management has shown that it can take these digital brands and improve advertising income. At 8.75p, the shares are trading on 11 times 2022 earnings. There may be concerns about the general advertising market, but Digitalbox has proved to be resilient and it is highly cash generative. Cash could equate to one-third of its market cap by the end of 2023.” says Andrew

No, just a shame that the current economic climate has impacted on a stonking first half.Broker has eased next year's forecast slightly with PBT at £1.5m and EPS of 1p with net cash expected to stand at £3.7m.Given the current bear market sentiment there could be an opportunity to add this morning, or enter for those watching on the sidelines.

Nope - industry tells you when belts get tightened, marketing budgets increase as they are fighting to get in customers face and get public to buy products

TRMR also warning today. A theme one suspects - reducing spend on online marketing. Longer term may be a different story of course...

From Reach Plc

"Yield on open market programmatic advertising (affects c. 50% of total ad volume) in Q2 down 40% year-on-year"

One wonders how much of DBOX revenue is of this nature (I suspect a fair bit). That's a horrific drop.

It's interesting to read how programmatic advertising works by the way...

Thanks for posting, very informative.Putting aside what May or may not transpire in the short term I believe DBOX has super medium/longer term growth potential.Expecting another acquisition in due course and I'll be catching up with the CEO myself on results day, write up to follow.

The return of "Late Night Mash" being well advertised.
IMO DBOX are good value here. Next deal could give upward move.
I increased my position by 50%, just a day early.

Here we go again. £52,000 in transactional value so far on level 2 and the greedy self serving market makers have managed to stair step the price down 1.5p equivalent to almost £2 million in market cap! Investors need to take a pause and a close look at what "in Line" actually means in terms of growth here on top of a net cash increase of 50%!.............
