22/12/2010 23:08 | Nice consolidation above the 50dma and moving back above the 5dma, good chance of this turning tomorrow. Would expect some supply in the 260p region then a move to new highs and 300p if that's broken. | matt123d
22/12/2010 16:31 | My average now 174p - would normally have banked profit by now but holding out as I also believe 300p will be breached Q1 11 - we shall see. | killieboy
22/12/2010 12:42 | I have held this share since the last full year results in February and have heard nothing but good news since. Forecasts are good and Devro seem well placed to take advantage of the growing demand from other parts of the planet. I would expect (or at the very least hope) for the shares to be over 300p when results are announced next February. I would be tempted to buy more on any price dips rather than think of selling. | sttrader
21/12/2010 22:56 | The fundamentals are still there and with emerging market countries adopting a western diet Devro is an attractive place to be. Buyers have recently been willing to pay up to 275p and given no recent news has been released, I personally take this to be nothing more than a spot of pre Christmas profit taking. After all, Devro has been named amongst the 'best performing stocks of 2010' by several top managers. Anyone else care to share their opinion? Xand | xandeebee
20/12/2010 22:11 | It's fighting to stay above 250p. I hold a huge long position with DVO but today I almost shorted with the target 140p. It might go down a little this week with traders closing their positions for Xmas. If it holds, I'll buy more. All the best everyone. | phate1313
20/12/2010 17:43 | Great to see some buying going on today lets hope for a good week. | xandeebee
17/12/2010 16:18 | A 30 point pull back. This is being sold to death. | phate1313
01/12/2010 14:10 | Praise for Devro: "Some of Leates's favourite stocks with growing emerging market exposure include Domino Printing, a manufacturer and supplier of industrial ink jet and laser printing equipment. She also highlights Devro, a sausage-skin maker, as a company to keep an eye out for. 'Devro is now quite big and it's grown fantastically over the past 10 years in the West. It is now becoming a big business in the Far East as the emerging market populace adapts to a more Western diet. It also has great management,' she said." Quote taken from: | xandeebee
01/12/2010 11:38 | general market weakness IMV. think it would correlate well against FTSE movement | melody9999

26/11/2010 17:32 | Cracking day for Devro! 300p next week please! | xandeebee
26/11/2010 16:17 | Great performance, looking for 300p from this move. 500p medium term target. | matt123d
26/11/2010 12:24 | Smashed 262p resistance and it looks like it will hold. On no news at all. Imagine what will happen in February when the results are announced. It's my largest holding. 50% of my whole portfolio. All I do is keep topping up. Good luck to all. | phate1313

01/11/2010 20:40 | TRADER TALK Dave Campbell, Citywire.co.uk Artemis stock selector Tim Steer has ramped up his exposure to food casings and collagen manufacturer Devro from 15.82 million shares to 16.74 million or 10.23% worth £37.66 million. The shares are held in his Artemis Growth fund, as well as a number of the company's other portfolios. Steer uses a fundamental company analysis, ranking cashflow, earnings and growth. He also uses balance sheet liabilities as a core indicator. The company last week reached an agreement with pension scheme members to cut its liabilities by £19 million, or around 8%. The company, which primarily manufactures sausage casings, offered to continue with its defined benefit scheme but to cap future increases to 1%. In an interim statement issued at the same time, the group said that trading remained in line with expectations and that it would invest around £30 million in manufacturing capability this year. | simon gordon |
