Video interview with Ewan Phillips

Deltex Medical Group PLC (LON:DEMG) announced on Tuesday that it signed up two more US hospitals for its bloodflow monitoring systems including its first major account in a veterans’ hospital.
The new accounts are with hospitals in the Mid-West and the Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital.
There are 20 US hospitals using Deltex’s oesophageal Doppler monitoring (ODM) probes in sufficient quantities to be deemed ‘platform’ programme accounts, and Ewan Phillips, chief executive, tells Proactive that getting to 20 is “a major staging post in our US expansion plans”.
He adds that Deltex “sees opportunities over the next two to three years to get some programs going through the whole VA system”, which he says would be “a real start to a roll-out program”.

Getting sales traction in the USA for a small cap UK company is not easy

Many have tried , many have fallen by the wayside and cried, many have died

fozdad,

I hope it does in respect of the chart, look at last year's Q1 performance and compare with this year and look at Q2 performance back then and around what level it bounced from....

wigwammer (7828) "If they check the statements it will show the uk has had serious difficulties."

er... you mean the way management refers to the U.K. as "cash-generative" ???

buywell has been calling this down from over 30p

As many here know

Most to their cost

With what appears to be over 1m net buys traded, if there was/is a seller then it should become obvious later.

Currently online limits down to 25k on the offer, so the next couple of hours trading might show us as well.

I did wonder about the advisors shares from the last placing some 1.56m shares, could they be feeding them into the market? I know it is below placing price, but they would have accounted for that in their fees?

The reason I asked is I was also trying to get some stock and in the end bought some with a limit order, but I see there is another 100k at almost immediately the same time, was that a seller matching my limit buy?

'Maybe one of the recent placees getting out?'

I seriously doubt that. Why would they go for stock at 4p a few weeks ago only to sell some below the price in the absence of any further newsflow, soon after?

LOL! Coincidence or what? I really thought twice about posting up my intentions.

Looks as if somebody went in and bid for 25k shares and got them, just after I posted, pushing the offer back to 4p. It wasn't me!

Good question Trout, everything points to some upward movement.

There may be some nervousness about the results next week, but as you say, we already know the headlines and all the financing issues should now be included in the price, so any good news should have a positive effect.

But clearly not!

Maybe one of the recent placees getting out?

Probably someone still feeding the market... even at these prices.

But I don't know what games the MMs are playing at either.

I tried on 2 occasions to add 25k shares just inside the offer price (electronically via TD Waterhouse) and failed both times to get the stock. I was just testing the market really.

I'm sure if I went through my normal channels of using my old stockbroker (I only tend to use them when I am spending more than £5k because of their minimum charges) that I would have been successful, but it was no big deal.

THE COUNT!

So now you agreed that you all can be wrong on things, can someone please try and explain who or what is the sticking point at 3.75p today? I assume the buy volume is a good one and would therefore expect a tick up.

Also looking back at the RNSs, the market knows the cash position and the fundings, loan note redemptions, new loan note agreements. They have also said about the figures for 2015 and about cost cutting and better US demand in 2016.
Also it would seem they would have to go some, to get another 10 platform programme accounts in the next 3 months, but if so there will be a flood of RNSs.
So why is the share price reaction so negative? It's below the placing price, 2/3rds of the loan note conversion price and showing a low last seen over a year ago???

Trout.

Anyway, enough of this light-hearted tomfoolery - when are you lot going to get back to that nice discussion about the difficulties of passing 30p?

SN - I haven't claimed to always call it right, have I?Yump - The statements show the uk market has been very weak. Buywell has called this down correctly. Your judgement here has been poor and it is instructive for people to know it. You appear ignorant of these facts ie you are ignorant.

yump - don't underestimate the power of checking peoples' posts - you might find that you and wiggy are actually in violent agreement:

'wigwammer - 16 Dec 2014 - 09:45:58 - 7123 of 7831
Jeeeez.

Not sure how many times management can repeat the same message before this board gets it.

Read the statements.

The story is the US, don't expect anything from the UK.'

PS wiggy - your last post was 7th March 2016 - not really so long ago.

Whereas wigwammer's always called it right:

'wigwammer - 03 Jun 2014 - 15:56:38 - 6563 of 7828
Can't remember who asked - but I'm happy to take up the OO at 11p.
Might end up paying a premium to the market price, but helps the balance sheet (in a small way!)'

I did warn you, wiggy!

If they check the statements it will show the uk has had serious difficulties. There is at least some truth to his post. What is the defence against the dark side of ignorant perma bulls, such as yourself? People can just check your past posts - all the way down.

People can just check the statements.

That is the defence against the dark side of trolls or rampers telling lies.

Don't know why you've popped up. I seem to remember your appearance as a 'reasonable' (negative) point maker a long time ago, so your true colours appear to be out now.
