I wonder if the FT article: 'Blackrock active equity bleeds $18Bn' dated the 3rd November 2014 gives a clue to the selling......they got started and private investors jumped off?


The share price has been bashed down yet the company is building itself in the USA...it takes time and I know its frustrating us! The company needs to get those US trainer accounts (starting with 8,9 and 10) signed and the fact communicated to the market in order to convince people that something worthwhile is being built.

As an institution, BlackRock are subject to 5%, 10% etc disclosures. This announcement brings them below 5%, but gives no indication, nor does it have to, about how many the retain below that threshold. So statements that this situation has not changed since DEMG forgot to tell the market means merely that they still hold less than 5%. It could be zero, it could be 4.99%.

--> if only the 5% rule applies in this case then you are right, their holding could be zero or 4.99%.

Deltex are hiring again in the US. Two more clinical educators and, more intriguingly, a marketing manager. They are also going to run out of cash quite soon, and with £1,000,000 of debt to repay by February, it suggests to me that they have lined up some sort of solution. Possibly they might tell at the interim stage.

Just a reminder that this refers to something that happened last October:

"This notification was sent on 20 October 2014 by BlackRock, but due to an administrative error upon receipt it was not processed by the Company until 17 August 2015. BlackRock has confirmed to the Company that the position as stated below remains unchanged".

BigT20, isn't 3% the notifiable level, i.e. below that it's not necessary to give the exact number of shares, but above that it is. That means the Black Rock announcement is not legally correct.

Additionally, they have to give which thresholds have been crossed from 3% upwards.

I think they had to announce as they breached 5% but I cant remember if they need to announce again if they breach 4% and then 3%.

How come the announcement of Black Rock's holdings says "Below 5%" ? I thought the limit was 3%, so any announcement should be either the number of shares or "below 3%".

Small uptick to Sp on RNS, think buyers jumped in on the 22 Jul and are now selling due to lack of real Sp movement after RNS. Who says the stock market is a level playing ground.. This announcement is great news for DM but evidently not for the Sp

I actually saw a lot of positives in today's announcements.

We all know how hard (and unpredictable) the UK is. Progress in the US is very encouraging, and now looks to be gaining momentum in Canada too.

I'm happy to squirrel these away at such low prices.

I've watched (and held) this company for a very long time. The picture looks the most rosey it's ever been with them.

Interesting Canadian news: the tender covers, not a hospital, not a number of hospitals, but a number of hospital _systems_. I'd like to know how many hospitals and of course the estimated revenue.

The more evidence that they can gather about improved surgical outcomes from the ever-increasing use in the US the more traction they will have for political lobbying in the UK. The extent to which they have engaged in trying to influence the political situation in the UK is unclear to me, but I sense they could be doing more. I added two weeks ago and plan to add some more before the results in Sept. As for today's share price ...who knows, this is AIM afterall!
