Its not been unknown for share price to fall 15% at some stage on day of results.

All depends on what the company has to say and how the market reacts,

A 20% fall would not surprise me on a grim statement.

Bulls drive the shorters away pending Debenhams final results on Thursday. The bad news is practically priced in. The worst that can happen is the divi will be cut or shelved for the time being. May not be a bad thing in order to conserve cash.

Shorters doomed to failure unlimited major loses.

Primark owner Associated British Foods (ABF) rose 4.3% to £26.95, driven by the budget-friendly retailer's 3% UK like-for-like sales growth in the 24 weeks to 3 March.

JD Sports surged after the retailer posted a 24% jump in full-year profit as sales grew and the company's international expansion paid off.

In the meantime Betterware fails to be sold and with Kleeneze also bust 9,000 self employed workers will lose their income not to mention hundreds of directly employed workers at both companies.



Unemployment may have fallen but tens of thousands of jobs are yet to be lost.

There is always the possibility of a small bounce immediately before results, but the market makers being pulled two ways.

Its too risky buying before statement imo.

Any bounce could be wiped out on results day which is Thursday.

over the past 2 weeks. As a Dept store Debenhams in a different category imv.
