'comedy works in retail'

I guess serving at McDonnalds is classed as retail.

I'm pretty sure that if MA takes on HMV and or Game at some point he'll combine them into multi offering stores and better utilise floor space.

Extremely interesting article on House of Fraser on this link below showing empty space but bear in mind Ashley will be using the first quarter quietest months to revamp store porfolio imo

Edit

The store shown has planning permission for part use offices by the Landlord.

KIGEL

I think the 60% fall will be due to stores c losing bear in mind quite a few closures wold presumably traded for Christmas. Not good for Ashley but he is a long term guy.

Also from the Telegraph:

"Sir Philip Green has shut around a fifth of his UK stores in the past two years as his retail empire struggles with tumbling sales and rising property costs.
The Telegraph has already revealed that the former king of the high street is working with advisers at Deloitte on a radical restructuring of Arcadia, which houses the Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Miss Selfridge and Evans brands. The plans could trigger a raft of store closures and potentially thousands of job losses."
