Times are hard on the high street ,
There is value in the company , there may be Debt, but Debt can be handled in time.
The internet sales are doing ok as I read about it .
A great Debenhams name .
Positive staff running the company.
Changes happening all the time for the better .
Loyal customer base in the main.
Quality products on sale .
Discount for loyalty card holders.
Landlords need to be more proactive and a little less greedy.

Some stores will need to be cut out and some trimmed back, to build a stronger retail business.

I personally think Debenhams will recover .

Debsdowner .Have you noticed what power and money can do , the Prince Phillip crash has made the local council take notice to reduce the speed limit on the road , obviously there may be other actions as well in time to come.

Money brings power.

Debsdowner, If you open an account and join "WhatDoTheyKnow", you will be able to look into anything even the Police , ask them anything and they have to by law reply to your questions in a satisfactory manner .
You might find this interesting.

Debenhams will recover in my view.

Qantas ,good morning to you , I hope your weather is as hot as it is here 22 C on the thermometer .
I see the uk is -4 to 1 c. oh what a pity ,oh dear ,brass monkey weather .

As we know ,Debenhams are making changes and have very hard working staff all pulling together to turn this little hickup round , A fantastic 250 + year old company that sell quality goods . perfume and cosmetics is a fantastic money maker ,best on the internet and in store as I see it .

I cannot see any reason at all that your predicted 100-300 pence is not achievable, I think it will get to 348 pence for christams .

I will be buying again next week ,putting my faith in a fantastic retail company .
