Huge coverage for the need for vaccination passports on a European and global basis , what standard form this takes it will require some robust identification technology not just a card saying I've had my had ! Whilst De La Rue might not be successful in being part of countries plans they certainly should be in the running..be rather nice if Govt procurement thought U.K. procurement first for a change!https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/01/21/travel-news-quarantine-corridor-ban-vaccine-passport-latest/

Remarkable late collapse - had a limit buy triggered at 156, which turned out to be the low of the day. All good...

I filtered buywell some time ago - he is relatively harmless, but also clueless.

He does have a function as a fairly reliable contrarian indicator - usually pitching up on a thread when the shares has been falling and projecting a much lower price, on the basis of, erm, his uninformed view.

At which point the share usually reverses. VLX in mid 2019 was a good example, and hopefully that post above is another.

:-)

As noted many times before, it really is very fond of the 150 level...

Added some more.

"The thing I want to stress more than anything is just how remarkable the team at De La Rue really is. I’ve never seen the level of capability, dedication, or customer focus that I’ve seen here and it’s great that we’re winning again." Clive Vacher, CEO

Non-chartist. For sure...

Just some basic resistance levels stuff - which as noted, is very clear and works very well on this share.

I'd assumed from some of your previous posts that you were an active Chartist. If not, no problem and thanks for your non-chartist view of the previous high.

I love the idea that I am technical enough to 'have a chart'... 😀

Just the previous high to be honest - 180 again, and above give clear blue sky, as far as I can see. Whether it is as simple as that after a rights issue, so that one share now is not the same as one share then and whether that is a factor - I don't know. Seen some discrepancies on other shares - COST, TW. - after rights issues, but it is reasonably far in the past here for it to not really matter any more.

Short version - see what happens at 180.

IP - what is the current resistance level that needs to be breached on your chart?

Boing, as they say...

And a hammer forming from the 150 touch.

Wishful thinking...

And it's back to the 150 resistance level on the way up - now a test as support.

I have to say, this year, this is one of the most extraordinarily chart-based shares I have come across. In terms of resistance and support, it's as good as they come. See what happened at 110, 120, 150 and 180 each time.

Edit - bought back in just after it touched 150 - but had to pay more. Nice to be back.
