15/11/2018 10:37 | You've done yourself a favour. | tongosti
15/11/2018 10:23 | Yep agreed on taking money of the table, i think the main guys on this forum have sold down along the way i was on the house funds ages ago | snorkelparker
15/11/2018 10:17 | Have mentioned several times on this board but no one bothers to google reflexivity concept from Soros on why the market does what it does. There you will have the answer to today's market action and one's puzzle of reality vs expectations. To those who are willing to think differently from the crowd (ironically, this has been historically attributed to value investors which this crowd on here definitely does not represent in a contrarian context) the market never surprises you (unlike rookies who utter WTF!) as you have prepared for all contingencies in advance. | tongosti
15/11/2018 10:00 | Whole sector is down, probably due to calamitous Brexit proposal. The fall is completely overdone but could test 800 before recovering. Tongosti - Reality v Expectations !? Current consensus - FY19e PBT £175M we are at £337M HY, do you really think they are going to lose > £160M in H2 when then only lost £30M last year ? Upgrades will be issued, as I said before I am using a £50M loss in H2 to get to FY PBT £290M. Significantly above the current market consensus. | hatfullofsky
15/11/2018 09:55 | Tongo, it is about time horizons. Yes, today is bad because the market has reacted negatively to Dart's standard cautious guidance, and the Raab resignation. Short term macro noise over Brexit will make this bumpy in the short term. For anyone with a longer term interest these results were very strong. Operating margin up sharply. Advance sales were up 33 per cent. Cash flow from operations up more than 50% y/o/y. Net cash up. They should report more than £1 of EPS for FY. The company is performing fantastically. | wagnerlove
15/11/2018 09:51 | SP - on a windfall it always pays to cover 50% at half hour with the rest running at breakeven(aka house's money). | tongosti
15/11/2018 09:49 | A good day for shorts, but still have to cover to take a profit. very unpleasant day all round for the rest.. | snorkelparker
15/11/2018 09:48 | With easyJet stepping up their holidays ambitions, you can see how the jet2 dominance may be challenged. I ran easyJet holidays projects when I worked there and it was always a bit player to mop up spare capacity. Now jet2 has shown the demand is there, I’m staying out until I know how serious easyJet are, as they have an exceptional network to enable them to step right in here and spoil the party. Having been on many jet2 holidays though, they are great! | smcmahon993993
15/11/2018 09:46 | "THEY HAVE THIS wrong in my opinion"HahahahahIf the market was acting right for you yesterday SUCK IT UP and admit that it is acting right now as well. | tongosti
15/11/2018 09:41 | THEY HAVE THIS wrong in my opinion. It will recover very fast. Maybe reading increased losses second half? Either way we will make over 100p ( comfortably) by march. Money spent in the winter is to increase sales and profit next Summer,. Cash position very strong and eating the opposition alive. I am very happy that we have been given another chance to buy sub 10.00. I think on what we know £12.00 today is fair valuation. Tiger | castleford tiger
15/11/2018 09:31 | TS - maybe but you have to admit that huge drop is not ordinary at all. The fall is staggering and should worry you. Let's see what the rest of the day brings but until then ... well done shorts! | tongosti
15/11/2018 09:20 | 10,000 @ 8.39This kind of opportunity doesn't happen very often. | lordoftiverton
15/11/2018 09:20 | Disagree, expecting most of the loss to be recovered during the day | tsmith2
15/11/2018 09:18 | Any broker views? | tsmith2
15/11/2018 09:17 | It is not strange at all. Most will disagree but this seems to be reality vs sky high expectations. V difficult to play catch up for the business and hence the fall. The market is not acting any stranger simply because it is now moving southwards. | tongosti
15/11/2018 09:15 | Very strange drop | tsmith2
15/11/2018 09:03 | The flush out a few years back had some logic as ecpected numbers / expecrations where missed .but this drop is strange ..I dont understand how markets work in situations like this ..you just have to keep going and stay logical. In July 2016 volume was a lot lot higher as it sold off | snorkelparker
15/11/2018 08:57 | Snorkel, There appears to be very little selling but the price continues to decline. Only the MM's really know. It's relentless | hatfullofsky
15/11/2018 08:53 | Huge gaps lower down, any sniff of a pull-back in earnings down the line will close these! | bookbroker
15/11/2018 08:52 | Managed to get some at 900 and 860 pSicknote | s34icknote
15/11/2018 08:47 | Added at 862 | valhamos
15/11/2018 08:46 | Tresham. Call options on margin is only a worry when naked calls are sold on margin and stock goes up.. anyway I dont think there is not an options market on this counter ..a public one | snorkelparker
15/11/2018 08:46 | 10,000 @ 8.7910,000 @ 8.56 (in auction due to big price drop)Thank you Mr Market | lordoftiverton
15/11/2018 08:42 | At least the numbers where good at nearly every level.. So no worries there..just burnt a few fingers .. | snorkelparker |
